This a very clean 1953 Ford f100 pickup 50yr anniversary   V8 engine and auto transmission. It was fully restored 6 rears ago and only been driven about 7500 miles  since. It is a very solid and rust free California truck. Everything works and was restored to like new condition. The truck has a very nice 351C engine with about 400hp and a C6 automatic transmission with a shift kit, oil cooler and filter installed. The truck was built to be a driver with 3.73 rear posi gears and disc brake kit for proper stopping. Also has sway bars and many new suspension bushings and parts. It has a nice dual exhaust with magnaflow mufflers that sounds great. Everything brake, suspension and drivetrain related has been gone through and was made to be a very reliable truck. The only thing that could use redoing but not mandatory is the wood bed which is showing sign of wear and age. The paint and body are very nice and shine as is the chrome that was all replaced or re-chromed when the truck was restored.

PLEASE CALL OR EMAIL FOR ANY QUESTIONS

I HAVE A BUNCH OF PICTURES I CAN SEND TO SHOW JUST HOW NICE THIS TRUCK IT

This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars

Tue, 25 Feb 2014

The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.

Riding along in Ford's bonkers Fiesta ST Global RallyCross car [w/video]

Wed, 28 Aug 2013

The Mountune-worked Fiesta ST GRC does 0-to-60 mph in 1.9 seconds.
On any given day, and every single weekend, there's at least one parking in the country invaded by manufacturer and team trucks. The be-chromed beasts and their 53-foot trailers are slotted into rows, men and women decorate the lot with orange cones to mark the invisible tracery of a temporary track, cars get unloaded, crews fret over them. The ritual can be as beautiful as the sunrise to those with enthusiast hearts, but it's just as common.

Ken Block and friends race light in silly-beautiful Castrol commercial

Wed, 28 May 2014

How does one make fast, loud, drifting cars better? Well, you can add more fast, loud, drifting cars or you can add lasers. Either or, really. In this case, Castrol did the right thing and added both, creating a highly stylized commercial for its Edge Titanium motor oil starring South African racer Adrian Zaugg, BMW factory driver Augusto Farfus, Audi DTM and Le Mans staple Mike Rockenfeller and some bloke named Ken Block.
Their cars? No surprise, but Block is in his Ford Fiesta GRC, while Zaugg samples a Lamborghini Aventador and Farfus and Rockenfeller drive along party lines, with a BMW M4 and an Audi R8, respectively. And those cars look good, too, thanks to the creative light and laser work on display.
Take a look below for the video from Castrol.
