You are bidding on my wife's 2011 Ford Explorer Limited. I purchased this Explorer three years ago with 10,420 miles after it was in an accident in Florida. It had a SALVAGE title and now is titled as REBUILT SALVAGE. This Explorer was $46,999 when purchased new.....I had a local body shop fix it and it has been my wife's daily driver for the last two years. With two kids off to college, we are down-sizing. As for the repair, I had replaced the: DRIVER FRONT DOOR, LEFT FENDER, BUMPER COVER, HOOD, LEFT HEADLIGHT, DRIVER FRONT TIRE. No airbags blown !!! I have listed most of the options in the "OPTIONS" above in the auction. My wife really enjoyed the navigation (which has had the recent Ford upgrade that took 4 hours to install) and especially the HEATED & COOLED front seats. I had the windshield replaced last fall due to a monster stone chip and it just had its oil change last month (computer timed). Also, I have installed WEATHER TECH floor liners in all of the seating areas. We are only selling this as we are down-sizing and the older kids have their own cars now. Included in this sale is a set of 17" All-Season tires on Ford steel wheels (w/ hubcaps that I didn't use) that have approximately 1000 miles. Feel free to answer any questions .........Happy bidding !!!
My Ford Explorer Limited had made a couple trips to up-state NY, Michigan Tech University in the U.P. of Michigan and several trip to Valpo, IN in the last year (trust it anywhere).....I live near MBS airport, Lansing INT'L (45 minutes to either one). Save a lot on shipping if you drive home yourself if interested. |

Ford drops Focus RS teaser ahead of Feb 3 reveal
Wed, Jan 21 2015Ford is trying to get us hyped for the unveiling of the latest Focus RS on February 3 with this new video teaser. The clip showcases the hot hatch doing some big slides in the wet and dry during testing in Europe and the US, and it definitely makes us even more curious about what the Blue Oval has in store with the RS. Even in this short teaser, Ford continues to dress the more aggressive nose of the Focus RS in camouflage, like the previous test cars. Unfortunately, what's going on under all of that concealment remains a bit of a mystery. Rumors suggest the RS likely uses a tuned version of the Blue Oval's 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder estimated to make between 325 and 350 horsepower. A speculated torque-vectoring all-wheel-drive system should keep fears of torque steer at bay, and larger brakes on the test mules indicate that bringing it all to a halt shouldn't be a problem, either. We do know that the hotter Focus will be among the "more than 12" vehicles that the new Ford Performance division will develop through 2020, and the RS will come to the US for the first time. However, US-spec RS models will likely be imported from Europe, which will keep numbers here low and will mean prices estimated to be around $30,000 or more. Until the official specs become available, at least enjoy watching this hot hatch's ability to slide.
2015 Ford F-150 gets Power Wheels treatment [w/video]
Thu, 26 Jun 2014With the introduction of its forthcoming 2015 F-150, Ford is breaking with convention by shifting from steel-intensive construction to aluminum. But what if it weren't made of metal altogether? What if it were made of plastic instead, and packed an electric motor instead of an internal-combustion engine?
Feast your eyes, boys and girls, on the new Power Wheels F-150. Built by Fisher-Price and licensed by Ford, the third-generation ride-on toy started development nine months before the full-size version debuted at the Detroit Auto Show this past January, and is hitting sidewalks and driveways across the country this September.
The Power Wheels F-150 carries a sticker price of $349.99, and there's a special version at Toys R Us with LED headlamps (just like the real F-150) for an extra $10.
Ford exec reveals new F-150 Raptor packs 450 horsepower
Mon, Jan 26 2015Between the new GT supercar, Shelby GT350R muscle car and F-150 Raptor off-roader, Ford had quite the array of performance machinery on display at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month. One thing it didn't reveal about any of the three, however, is how much power they'd pack, but a senior executive at the Blue Oval automaker has reportedly let the cat out of the bag when it comes to the Raptor. During a televised interview during the Rolex 24 at Daytona this past weekend, Ford's product development chief Raj Nair is said to have revealed that the new F-150 Raptor will offer 450 horsepower. That's pretty impressive from a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6, and would put the new Raptor out ahead of the 411 hp produced by the 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 in the previous SVT Raptor. That doesn't give us the whole picture, though, because in a vehicle this big especially, torque will play a huge factor. The outgoing Raptor offered 424 pound-feet of twist, and the existing 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine is already producing 420 lb-ft – so it seems fairly safe to assume the new Raptor will eclipse those figures as well, but we'll have to wait for official word to find out for sure.
