I own this car since new. The car has some issues;

Check engine light is on, It was diagnosed to be a vacuum leak, at idle it runs rough but has plenty of power and the roughness is gone while driving. Also has a noise if you accelerate quickly coming down from 3000 RPM.

The back hatch narrow panel has to be replaced.

The R/R window regulator needs replacement.

There are light key scratch on the L/S doors.

The R/R quarter panel is damaged and I have the trim which is undamaged.

The paint is wearing on the roof and some oxidation on the hood edges.

The brakes were just recently replaced and stops fine, although the ABS light comes on occasionally.

The tires have 30% wear ad are good.

The engine has no knocks or chatter, it is very quiet.

The 4 wheel drive is working fine.

The transmission shifts well, no issues there.

The A/C works well and cold.

Motor Trend pits Subaru WRX vs. Ford Focus ST

The Ford Focus ST has enjoyed a relatively calm, if brief, reign in the world of hot hatches. With nothing else in the class (in the States, at least) but the aging Mazdaspeed3 and Subaru Impreza WRX and the slow-selling Volkswagen Golf R, the Blue Oval's 252-horsepower five door has been the go-to vehicle for those that don't need the high-octane lunacy (and expense) of the rally bred Subaru Impreza WRX STI and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Now, though, as the new Subaru WRX (it's not an Impreza anymore, though, neither is it a hatchback...) starts to arrive at dealers, the Focus ST appears to be under threat for the first time. Naturally, Motor Trend is here to figure out which one is the best, with another one of its Head 2 Head videos. Host Jonny Lieberman puts both cars through their paces, going above and beyond, quite literally, at the very end of the video.

FBI investigating recently fired Ford engineer for espionage

Agents of the FBI are investigating a potential case of industrial espionage involving a recently fired Ford employee. The Dearborn, MI-based manufacturer had its world headquarters searched by FBI agents on July 11, and according to The Detroit News, had warrants to seize recording devices handed over to Ford by Sharon Leach, a now-former Ford engineer.
Leach, who had spent 17 years with the Blue Oval, was fired last month, after Ford Security relieved her of eight Sansa listening devices. The FBI got involved shortly after her dismissal, searching her home on June 20 and seizing some two dozen items, including computers, jump drives and financial records, according to warrants obtained by The News.
Ford has remained quiet on the matter, with spokeswoman Susan Krusel confirming that the automaker was working with the FBI as part of a "joint investigation," while declining to provide any additional details.
