exceptionally clean 1998 ford explorer xlt with very low mileage. i bought this from the original owner last may with the intention of using it to pull a small travel trailer; i've put about 1500 mi on it since then & still no trailer to pull, so might as well sell it. Will tow 6700 lbs, hitch & elect. hook-up installed. includes original window sticker & brochure pictured.
please look at pics and judge condition for yourself; everything works as it should. there are no hidden body or interior problems, just normal (but low) wear. the only spot i really notice is on the driver's door armrest ...shows rub from use. garage kept by me & original owner...non smokers but we have cats & a dog...there are a few stray hairs.
this is the perfect vehicle to pull a trailer, boat or small rv. i liked the size and looked a long a time to find something this nice with a V8 engine.
Require a $500.00 paypal payment within 48 hrs of auction end; balance to be paid within 7 days by bank or personal check which MUST clear before car & title will be released. $500 is non refundable unless you pick up car in person and i agree vehicle is NOT as described.

Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany
Sat, 29 Jun 2013Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.
Whatever it is and wherever it's headed, you can check out in the gallery for a closer look before heading into Comments to weigh in with your best guess.
2015 Ford Edge debuts with fresh tech inside and out
Tue, 24 Jun 2014
Edge will be the first Ford-badged product to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Ford officially unveiled the all-new, third-generation Edge today at its Dearborn home, announcing that the latest version of the popular crossover will ride on the same CD4 architecture that underpins the Ford Fusion and Lincoln MKZ. The Edge will also be the first Ford-badged product to come standard with EcoBoost power.
Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 has a bit of a dyno issue
Tue, 28 May 2013We're of the mind that each and every dyno should come with Murphy's Law painted in big, visible letters down the side. For every ten successful dyno runs out there, it seems there's one where events to horribly wrong. Take, for example, the video below. The clip shows what happens when a Ford Shelby GT500 and a mobile dyno have a bit of a disagreement at the Performance Expo 24 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. We won't spoil the results for you, but we will say there's some substantial carnage involved.
It's unclear just how much damage ensues from the dust up or whether anyone was harmed in the incident, but from the looks of things, everyone made it out without serious injury. If only we could say the same for the machines involved. Check out the video below.
