2003 Ford Explorer Sport XLT Premium 2WD-$6500 OBO... CLEAN TITLE!
This is a perfect truck for anyone. I bought it from Mullinax Ford In Apopka FL this past October and it has had regular maintenance twice with no problems reported whatsoever. It has been my daily driver since and I have absolutely no complaints. Handling is perfect, brakes are new, tires are like new, and the 4.0 liter V6 is very, very strong. Aesthetically, this vehicle is as perfect as they can come. There are one or two very minor scratches that are difficult to see with the color of the car and same goes with the interior.

Includes:
Ice cold air conditioning seconds after you start the car (same with Heat)
Rear air conditioning/ Sound Control
Power Windows
Power Mirrors
Power Locks
Keyless Entry
Cruise Control
Automatic Headlights
Dual Airbags
Power Seats
Privacy Glass (Every window but the driver and passengers')
Roof Rack
Premium Wheels/Rims
Automatic Transmission
ABS
Power Steering
Tilt Wheel
AM/FM Radio w/ 6 CD Player
Pioneer Premium Sound (It can be very loud with a 8 inch sub in the back)
Running Boards
Bull Bar included (Yankee plate not included, sorry)
Fog Lights
Power Lumbar Supports
Spare Tire (with jack and crowbar)
Front/Rear Defrost
Second Row Folding Seats (Split Fold)
Bug Shield
Side Window Rain Guards

For a 2003, this car is as close to brand new as it comes. The interior is very near to perfect and the exterior is perfect besides one quarter sized dent that took me 3 months to notice. The only fault is that the overhead console display that tells temp and direction sporadically works, but that is it. The carpets are a little dirty in the pictures but those will be cleaned prior to pick up. Normally I would never let a gem like this go, but I want to buy a car instead of a SUV.
As I've said, this truck is near perfect, I'm asking $6,500 OBO.

If you desire any more pictures or have any questions, please ask prior to making an offer or purchasing.

A $500 deposit is required within 48hrs of close of auction via PayPal or in person.  The remaining balance is must be paid either by certified check, cash in person, bank check.

Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can arrange for pick up at the Orlando International Airport if you decide to fly in and drive it back. Any inspection must be done prior to auction close.  This vehicle has no warranty.

2015 Ford Focus

Tue, 14 Oct 2014

Sitting down at the pre-drive briefing with Ford engineers ahead of sampling the refreshed 2015 Focus, water bottles clinked as we wet our whistles before Q&A. While pouring a glass, we noticed something stamped on the bottle label: "1L." One liter. We were palming the exact displacement of the EcoBoost engine our group was about to drive. This was undoubtedly coincidence (such bottles litter every conference and dinner table in Europe) but it served to drive home just how small the total swept volume of Ford's wunderkind powerplant really is. It's tiny.
Of course, this isn't our first run-in with the little triple - we've sampled its turbocharged charms before in Ford's smaller Fiesta. At that time, we found it had plenty of poke for the subcompact, but the larger C-segment Focus carries around another 450 pounds or so and pushes a wider profile through the air. Would the three-cylinder have the stuffing to make the most of the Focus' athletic chassis, or would it be a letdown? Would it be the same as it was when we tested it in a Euro-spec Focus a couple of years ago? There was nothing left for it but to head out on the bucolic roads surrounding Versailles the day after the Paris Motor Show and find out for ourselves.

12 new cars that will never go out of style

Tue, Nov 23 2021

Some cars never go out of style. It’s rare, but it happens. They get old. They get depreciated. But they never stop looking cool.  Some might call them modern or instant classics. Within a few years theyÂ’re no longer the latest and greatest, no longer the flavor of the month, but they remain special. Eternally special. Timeless.  These cars arenÂ’t necessarily going to be worth a fortune someday. However, some may not depreciate as rapidly or as far as other models. But thatÂ’s not what weÂ’re talking about here. These are the cars that enthusiasts will always find desirable from the curbside. TheyÂ’re the cars you end up shopping on eBay late at night 10 years later because you canÂ’t get them out of your head. TheyÂ’re the cars that will forever excite you when you spot a clean one in traffic or in a parking lot.  There are plenty of recent examples over the past couple of decades that could count as instant design classics. But then we got to thinking, what 2021 models will be forever cool to stare at? Which new cars and trucks on sale today will we be shopping on eBay late at night in the 2030s? We kept supercars and other ultra-expensive cars off the list to keep things within the realm of attainability, and ended up with 12 total cars. Lexus LC WeÂ’re not applying a numerical ranking to any of the cars on this list, but if we were, the Lexus LC would be No. 1. There isnÂ’t another car design out there that can stir our emotions the way an LC can when itÂ’s just standing still. This car is a concept design come true in the most beautiful of ways, and itÂ’s a shoo-in winner for Concours events decades into the future. All of this heaping praise, and we havenÂ’t even gotten to the LC 500Â’s intoxicating 5.0-liter V8. It doesnÂ’t win drag races. It wonÂ’t be the fastest around the track against any similarly-priced competition. But none of that matters. ItÂ’s quite possibly the best car you can buy new, and that says it all when it comes to the LC. Chevrolet Corvette It might not be the stunner that the Lexus LC is, but the new C8 Corvette is and will always be a special vehicle. ItÂ’s the first mid-engine Corvette, which instantly cements it into an automotive hall of fame section of sorts. All of the performance stats and specs are there to back up its supercar-like looks, and it remains the best performance bargain on sale today.

Automakers tussle over owners of 'orphan' makes

Thu, 10 May 2012

When General Motors put down several of its brands in recent years, it also let loose thousands of brand-loyal customers who will eventually need another car.
R.L. Polk Associates estimates there are more than 18 million cars from 16 discontinued makes on the road today. Those "orphan owners" have sales-hungry competitors seeing dollar signs. GM is offering Saturn owners $1,000 cash toward a Chevy Cruze, Cadillac CTS or a GMC Acadia. Ford is giving its Mercury lease customers a chance to get out of their contracts with no early-termination penalty and offering to waive six remaining payments if they drive off in a Ford or Lincoln.
Edmunds.com research shows the efforts are paying off somewhat for GM, with 39 percent of Pontiac owners, 37 percent of Hummer owners and 31 percent of Saturn owners taking delivery of another GM-branded vehicle. But that leaves as much as 69 percent of owners going elsewhere. Ford, Honda and Toyota seem to be attracting many former GM owners.
