2013 Ford Expedition Limited with only 16,533 miles on it. It has the 5.4 liter V8 engine with automatic transmission. Very well equipped with nice black leather interior, heated & cooled power front seats, driver side seat also has memory, 2nd row seats are also heated, 3rd row are power fold, auto climate control, adjustable pedals, electric trailer brake controller, alloy wheels with very good Goodyear tires, rear view camera, power rear lift gate, power folding mirrors, garage door openers, Tilt steering, controls on steering wheel for cruise control, radio, and Bluetooth (Sync), keyless entry, parking sensors front & rear, and rear of center console has radio, heat, and air controls. Also plug for 12volt plug and 110volt 150w AC plug in. Comes with 2 sets of keys. Also has all owners manuals and factory floor mats. Now for the bad. This Expedition was involved in a rear end collision. It does have a CLEAR TITLE. It will need the following parts to repair......Rear bumper assy., rear hatch, left taillight, and spare wheel & tire. The left rear quarter panel probably should be replaced, but in my opinion it could be repaired. The rear of the frame does have some damage. A good frame machine operator should be able to pull and repair it. As seen in the pictures the left rear wheel is turned in. None of the rear suspension components are bent that I can see. There is a kink in the frame in front of the upper control arm. I have tried to show all the damage in the pictures. Left rear interior panel is bent. Could be reused depending on your preference. Rear floor pan is bent, but looks to me like usable. There are some dents on the right rear quarter panel, it's defiantly repairable. The rear windows on both sides are power fold out and the plastic pieces are broken that connect to window. I have not taken anything apart to know exactly what it needs but the most would be the power motors. Both glasses are good. The broken pieces screw off the glass. Also has nearly full tank of gas! I have tried to list everything damaged on this Expedition. But with any wrecked vehicle some things could be over looked. You are welcome and encouraged to come by and inspect. The Expedition runs great and lot drives. It can not be drove on the road because of the left rear tire out of alignment. No airbags are blown. No service lights are on. The rest of the body is in great condition no dents or scratches. This SUV does have a clear LA title so the factory warranty should still be good. It was not salvage and does not have salvage history. The above description is my opinion not any kind of guaranty. Some people would fix damaged parts others won't. I do have for sale locally and do reserve the right to end early. Please view my feedback and email any questions. Thank you for viewing my auctions!

Will the new Ford GT race at Le Mans?
Tue, Jan 13 2015Ford stole the spotlight here on the floor of the Detroit Auto Show this year with the reveal of the new GT. Its carbon-fiber chassis, 600-plus-horsepower EcoBoost engine and radical aerodynamic shape made sure of that, but flanking it with the debuts of the Mustang GT350R and F-150 Raptor didn't hurt any, either. Any racing fan looking at the new Blue Oval supercar, however, had to wonder whether Dearborn is planning on putting it on the race track. The House that Hank Built is, after all, a known entity in motor racing. It may be canceling its V8 Supercars program Down Under, withdrawn its support from the World Rally Championship, and it's been years since it's competed in Formula One or Indy. But it still competes in the United SportsCar Championship, NASCAR, NHRA and a variety of motor racing disciplines. One of its most famous and celebrated of racing endeavors, however, came in the form of the original GT40 that brought Ford four consecutive victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, starting with a dominant one-two-three finish in 1966. It's the 50th anniversary of that landmark win which the new Ford GT celebrates, but while the press materials made clear reference to that historical event, any mention of a return as was previously speculated was carefully omitted. That, according to Autosport, could come down purely to the ACO, the organizers of the event and sanctioning body for its associated series, which has yet to announce the revised format for the GTE class under which a potential Ford GT racer would compete in 2016. Longtime Ford racing partner Multimatic is said to have closely consulted with the ACO on the formation of those rules, however, and assuming they're finally formulated to Dearborn's liking, we could be looking at a GTE-spec Ford GT to return to La Sarthe next year in celebration of that landmark victory half a century prior. Chip Ganassi Racing – which races under Chevy power in NASCAR and Indy but recently switched to Ford for its Daytona Prototype – is said to be in line to field the car on Dearborn's behalf. If given the green light, it would be the first time Ford would field a factory effort at Le Mans since the C100 project under the Group C category in the early 1980s. A racing version of the previous Ford GT was prepared by Switzerland-based Matech a few years ago, but without factory support or notable success beyond the FIA GT3 European Championship.
Verizon buys Telogis in connected vehicle market push
Wed, Jun 22 2016(Note/disclaimer: We are owned by Verizon, by way of AOL. This gives us no inside track whatsoever when it comes to news.) With a lot of tech companies and automakers staking their claims in the connected car space, now there are signs that others are looking to move in, too. Today, telecoms giant Verizon announced that it is acquiring Telogis, a California-based company that develops cloud-based solutions for mobile workforces, and specifically telematics, compliance and navigation software used by Ford, Volvo, GM and other car companies, as well as Apple and AT&T. Financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed, although we'll try to find out. Considering that Verizon in 2015 reported full-year revenues of $131.6 billion, the price would have to be very high to be considered "material" and may not be made public for some time, if ever. Telogis in its time as a startup raised a substantial amount of money, just over $126 million in all, including $93 million in 2013, supposedly ahead of an IPO, all from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Back in 2013 when KPCB made its investment (which was the first from a VC firm in the company), Telogis told TechCrunch it was profitable and forecasting revenues of $100 million annually for the year. It's not clear what size those revenues are now, but if it was on the same growth trajectory as before the funding, sales would be around $150 million annually, with profitability, at the moment. Other investors include some very notable strategics: the investment arm of General Motors, and Fontinalis Partners, which also invests in Lyft and was co-founded by Bill Ford, the executive chairman of the Ford Motor Company. Before the acquisition, Verizon actually had a business in fleet management and telematics; in fact, the two companies competed against each other for business from the trucking and other industries. Verizon Telematics, as the business is called, is active in 40 countries. But in a way, Verizon buying Telogis is a sign that the latter may have proved to be the more superior, and the one with the key customer deals.
Ford's Galhotra succeeds Farley as head of Lincoln
Wed, 23 Jul 2014Ford Motor Company is announcing a major personnel shakeup that could have a dramatic effect on the future of the Lincoln division. Kumar Galhotra (pictured above), currently vice president of engineering at Ford for all of its vehicles worldwide, is taking over as the president of the luxury brand on September 1, replacing Jim Farley. The automaker is also hiring a new head of advanced engineering.
Galhotra has a huge job ahead of him as the new boss of Lincoln worldwide, overseeing product development, marketing, sales and service. His task is to turn the luxury division into a world-class brand as quickly as possible, and he reports directly to Ford President and CEO Mark Fields.
"These changes underscore our commitment to build on the success of our One Ford plan by accelerating our pace of progress. They also make clear we are serious about Lincoln as a world-class luxury brand and that product excellence and innovation are what will deliver growth and define our entire company going forward," said Fields in the company's announcement.
