2002 Expedition XLT, silver with grey cloth interior, Interior looks and smells new, no damage, seats and carpet look new, 160000 miles, Had a 4 hour 1 way commute to work for a year. All available option except sunroof and leather. Everything works fine, no check eng. lights or sensors are on. No problems at all, Has front and rear ice cold AC, multi disc CD player, power everything. 3rd row seat, tow package with hitch. New items include: tires, shocks, battery, brakes, fuel pump and fuel filter, recent oil change. Always garaged and dealer maintained. Always synthetic oil since new. Paint is nice and shiny, has a slight wave on drivers rear door, you ca't see it unless you look at an angle. Must have been a shopping cart or something. Front lower valance has a small tear. Ran into a bicycle in the garage. Truck rides and drives fantastic, very smooth and comfortable. Nice , well kept truck.

Is Tesla's next project an F-150 competitor? [w/poll]
Wed, 13 Nov 2013What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.

Detroit's new fleet of donated police cars have safety issues [w/video]
Wed, 23 Oct 2013In a show of generosity in mid-August, Detroit's business leaders donated $8 million to the Police Department and Fire Department in order to buy 100 new police vehicles and 23 EMS ambulances. But now officers have discovered - and complained - that the police vehicles have glaring safety issues, Deadline Detroit reports. It is not made clear what models of the fleet vehicles - which include police versions of the Ford Taurus, the Chevrolet Caprice and the Dodge Charger - are affected by the safety issues.
Officers reportedly have complained that the Plexiglass partition separating front-seat officers and back-seat prisoners is easily breached, and that the front passenger seat is installed too close to the dashboard. Prisoners who manage to writhe out of their handcuffs can bend the Plexiglass and reach into the cockpit, and sitting too close to the dashboard can render airbags more dangerous and make officers more vulnerable to injury in a crash.
Mark Diaz, president of the Detroit Police Officers Association, received the complaints and reportedly said the vehicles would get safety updates addressing the issues. But Deadline Detroit reports that it checked some of the offending police cars and, as of the last few days, they hadn't been updated.
