This is an amazing truck. I have owned it since 2008 and purchased it with 89,000 miles on it. Do not let the mileage concern you. Almost all are highway miles. I have done very little towing with it. I was in Seismic Industry and traveling a lot thus the high miles. I have always done the maintenance per the owners manual every 5,000 miles as Ford recommends. I have only used Mobil 1 full synthetic 5W-20 oil changed every 5,000 miles without fail. I have done every recommended full 4x4 service, again with full synthetics as recommended. Every flush of any of the fluids have been done on schedule and new fluids put in. Never did I, not even if the mechanic said they still had life left, let the old fluids remain. Most of the service has been done by the same mechanic and he had standing orders to correct anything wrong with genuine Ford parts. I regularly use Chevron Techron fuel additive and the mileage is fantastic. I get 15-17 on the highway & 14 in town.
It has Michelin tires about 10,000 miles since being put on. The tires are a 70,000 mile tire.
There have been very few issues with the vehicle during my ownership. I have replaced the following:
All brake pads (plenty of life left in them), front rotors, all four shocks, alternator, EGR valve, all four front ball joints and upper control arms, rear wiper motor. With the number of miles driven all of the above are really routine maintenance. I also replaced the GEM module because there was an intermittent signal to the rear wiper motor. I did this as a preventative measure because it controls so many functions on the vehicle. I bought the GEM module new from the Ford dealer in Kent WA. It was not a salvage or refurbished module.
The truck does have a dent on the front left fender. This was from a hawk strike at 65 mph not an accident. The truck does have some minor paint scuffing and the cargo area plastic will show some wear. No tears or stains on the seats. Carpet is beautiful. 4 month old custom fit, Made in the USA, mats (very plush). Everything works and always has. Has a new Denver Smog test certificate good for the next two years. I have a CarFax (click here to see it) for it.
This is one of the best looking Expeditions ever put on the road. I am selling it because I moved to Denver and have three vehicles and live in an apartment. No need to pay for parking every month for a vehicle I am not driving. This is a wonderful truck I hate to part with. It needs a great home.
Payment needs to be arranged at the end of the auction. This needs to be a cash transaction. I will do a cashiers check, but I will not release the vehicle until payment clears my bank or I am able to convert it to cash. Cashiers checks can be forged and I will not accept that responsibility. Do NOT bid if you do not have cash ready for payment. I will not hold for financing or to gather the money. Buyer to pay any taxes incurred and if shipping is required buyer will pay that as well.

MotorWeek finds nice things to say about the 1993 Ford Probe
Tue, Mar 8 2016This latest in MotorWeek's series of Retro Reviews continues its recent trend of remembering the massive glut of sports coupes that hit the market in the '90s. While vehicles like the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mazda RX-7, and Ford Mustang all enjoy solid reputations down to this day, the 1993 Ford Probe, well... doesn't. As you'll soon see, though, the show's opinion suggests the coupe's second generation isn't really all that bad. Turns out they just weren't particularly sporty. Ford and Mazda developed the Probe together, and the Japanese company supplied both the base 115-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the 164-hp 2.5-liter V6 in the GT trim. The original's pseudo-angular look gave way to a much smoother shape for the second generation. Of course, pop-up headlights remained, which were a design hallmark for many of this era's sports coupes. After driving it, MotorWeek proclaims the Probe is "a winner" and considers the handling a "delight." That's not a big surprise, considering that in those days, a car had to be really bad not to get a decent review from Television's Original Automotive Magazine. However, the show hints at some of the reasons the coupe isn't so well remembered today. Even the GT reportedly suffers from soft springs and lots of understeer, which sounds like exactly the opposite anyone hoping to drive the coupe enthusiastically would want. To sum it all up, we're sure you're just as happy as we are that Ford went back on its initial plan to shelve the Mustang in favor of the front-drive Probe. Related Video:

Weekly Recap: 2016 CTS-V gives Cadillac new momentum for the new year
Sat, Dec 27 2014It's been a rough year for Cadillac. The historic luxury carmaker been in the news for all of the wrong reasons: Declining sales, ditching its advertising agency and the relocation of its headquarters from Detroit to New York. But in late December, Cadillac reminded everyone what it does best: Build some of the rawest and most compelling luxury sedans in the world, as evidenced by the 2016 CTS-V. This monster churns out 640 horsepower from a supercharged 6.2-liter V8. Sound familiar? That's the Corvette Z06 engine, and it makes this CTS the most powerful production Cadillac ever. It also puts the sporting divisions of the Germans on notice. The new CTS-V easily overpowers the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4Matic and its 5.5-liter biturbo V8 rated at 577 hp, and the BMW M5 (with the competition pack) and its 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 that pushes out 575 hp. The rear-wheel drive Cadillac can sprint to 60 miles per hour in 3.7 seconds, which is close to the 3.5-second time turned in by the 4Matic-driven E63 S, and a bit quicker than the 4.1 seconds posted by the M5. With Magnetic Ride Control, General Motors' stout eight-speed automatic transmission (also used in the Corvette), Brembo brakes and a carbon-fiber option package that pretty much builds your car out of carbon fiber – it's clear this Cadillac means business. Truth be told, we expected this CTS-V to deliver. It's been a serious sports sedan for a decade, and the recent generation and its 556-hp arrogance have been particularly memorable. But notice what we're doing here? We're talking about product. Not who makes Cadillac's ads, or if the brand's headquarters has a mailing address in NYC. Like the 2016 ATS-V that's due in the spring, the debut of the 2016 CTS-V (on sale in late summer) is a shot in the arm for Cadillac, and its arrival comes during time of transition. The brand is trying to reinvent itself as a modern luxury maker. It wants new customers, a different image and obviously more sales. Those things are going to take time, but with a 640-hp sledgehammer of a sports sedan on tap for next year, Cadillac can still maintain some of its swagger through all of the change.
