Very clean low miles and extras (Read the bottom) This is a very clean low mileage 2001 Ford Excursion XLT v10 gas motor. This has a 6 super lift, dual front shocks and steering stabilizers. 35 BFG AT's with maybe 70% left tread on them. KN cold air intake with Flowmaster exhaust and dual outlets. Transmission has a newly installed deep cooling pan and solenoid pack and axle has 4.30 gears. Recently installed the new chrome billet grill and also replaced the faded headlights with new ones. The interior is gray leather with a third row which still is in decent shape but not the greatest that's why I bought the expensive custom seat covers listed below. It has power seats and heated power mirrors. Stock stereo is installed but at one time this had TV headrest monitors installed and the previous seller took out the monitors and added a black plate to cover where they went on the headrests.

Ford hiring 2,200 salaried US workers this year

With its influx of popular new products made in the US, Ford Motor Company has announced that it intends to hire 2,200 new salaried workers domestically this year. This is the biggest increase of salaried workers for Ford in the last 10 years, and it is all a part of Ford's contract commitment to the United Auto Workers union to bring 12,000 new jobs to the US by 2015.
There were no specifics as to where in the US these job openings will be, but Ford did reiterate that it will be spending $773 million on equipment upgrades and capacity expansion at six plants located in southeast Michigan; as a whole, Ford is investing a total of $6.2 billion to its US assembly plants over the next couple years. According to recently appointed president of the Americas Joe Hinrichs, the new jobs will be focused on areas such as engineering, manufacturing and computer software. Ford will post its job openings online at careers.ford.com, and it will also use social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to recruit new workers, including military veterans.

Ford Australia pulls the ol' talking car prank

Siri from Apple has proven that being able to talk to your technology doesn't always work perfectly. But what if it could eventually go far enough to give a personality to inanimate objects like our cars? Ford took just this path to comedic effect by playing a prank on many unsuspecting Australians, in a new commercial for its EcoSport compact crossover.
The Aussies seem very nonchalant about having a random parked car talk to them, and they seem surprisingly game when it asks them to get in, call a celebrity and tell a joke.
