This is 2001 Ford Excursion Limited. 7.3 Diesel, 4x4. Literally the best all around vehicle I have ever owned. I purchased vehicle to use for family trips and it never disappointed. It has truly been my baby.
My kids are grown and gone, and it saddens me to see it sit. I probably have driven less than 200 miles in last two years. So it's time for someone else to enjoy. It's condition is good to excellent. There is minor wear common to its age, but no dents or dings. Paint is in good condition, could probably use a wax job but it's large and I'm old so I'll leave that to new owner. Interior is excellent and I have a complete set of factory leather seat covers for seats when the originals wear out that will go to buyer. The factory carpet mats have never been used, I installed weathertech mats and cargo liner when I purchased the truck along with window vents. Mechanically the vehicle is perfect. It has never failed me. Accessories that I have added are, K&N cold air filter for fuel economy, warn lockouts for four wheel drive, diablo programmer for horsepower and fuel economy. I get 19.5 mpg in town and 23-25 mpg on highway. All factory accessories will be included in sale of vehicle. Always use rotella synthetic oil and have maintained religiously since purchase. The 7.3 diesel has been incredible in its power and service. Feel free to contact me with questions. Buyer will be responsible for any shipping of vehicle. It will be sold to highest bidder and there will be not disappointments. |

Ford Figo concept unveiled in India
Mon, 03 Feb 2014Ford has officially unveiled the Figo Concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in New Delhi. While it may wear a concept badge, we'd argue this little sedan, which is under 12 feet long, looks ready to replace the current Figo and do battle with other B-segment cars in the world's emerging markets.
"With the Figo Concept, we are showing that choosing a compact sedan does not mean compromising on premium design or smart solutions," said Kumar Galhotra, Ford's VP of engineering, global product development. That premium design includes Ford's familial, trapezoidal grille and Fusion-esque headlights in front, while the rear end reminds us of the last-generation Focus Coupe. While that car wasn't exactly attractive, the chopped off tail looks pretty nice on this smaller car. And if you really don't like the looks of the Figo Concept, just remember - it looks better than the current production model. Aerodynamically, the Figo's shape is quite slippery, which means reduced wind noise and improved fuel economy.
As for the "smart solutions" touted by Galhotra, the narrow confines of Indian streets make driving even the tiniest cars a challenge. To give the Figo Concept a one-up on the competition, Ford has fitted power-folding mirrors that sport a "flexible architecture," which should stand up well to bumps from cars, people or bikes. We don't have any interior images, but Ford is promising a large cabin, that includes a dock that can accommodate a phone or MP3 player, allowing either to be controlled through the car.
2015 Ford Focus ST gets sleeker style, improved dynamics
Thu, 26 Jun 2014The Brits don't really have a major auto show these days. Not in a conventional sense, anyway, with stationary vehicles under floodlights in a closed exposition space. What they do have, you could argue, is much better: the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where the public can view the latest machinery not only under an open sky, but in motion as well, speeding up Lord March's front lawn. And this year, British automakers are rolling in with some very enticing new metal.
In the past few days alone we've confirmed the McLaren 650S GT3 and MSO, Jaguar F-Type Project 7, Range Rover Sport SVR and Ariel Ace will all be revealed for the first time at Goodwood this weekend. Ford isn't, strictly speaking, a British automaker, but for all its history in the UK, it might as well. So it's chosen Goodwood as the site to unveil its refreshed Focus ST.
The upgraded Blue Oval hot hatch still packs a 2.0-liter turbo four with 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque driving through a six-speed manual to the front wheels, so we're not expecting much change in measurable performance. But Ford has given the new Focus ST a new front suspension setup and a new electric power-assisted steering rack that combine to promise improved handling.
