Up for sale is my very well maintained Ford Excursion Limited. Truck has many new parts including new projection beam/L.E.D. headlamps with 10,000K H.I.D.'s, L.E.D.s in running boards, rear backups and all interior lights. Also 10 new plugs and coils and fuel pump, all O.E.M. parts an installed by local dealer, Dana Ford Lincoln Mercury. Truck was ONLY SERVICED WITH FULL SYNTHETIC OIL AND ONLY 93 OCTANE FUEL, HAVE ALL THOSE RECEIPTS TOO..... Both locking hubs changed to Mile Marker Hubs and New Painted Rear Bumper with backup sensors. All work was performed within last year from Feb. 2012 to Present. Watch live as Mark Fields is officially named Ford's next CEO
Thu, 01 May 2014We've heard rumblings of a changing of the guard at Ford, and this live stream from The Blue Oval itself is set to confirm the rumors: Alan Mulally will be succeeded by the automaker's current Chief Operating Officer, Mark Fields.
Mulally, who is 68 years old, has served at the head of Ford for eight years, and his official retirement date will be July 1st, 2014. Fields, who is 53 this year, has been with Ford for 25 years and has been groomed to take the helm from Mulally for the last several of those years.

Ford partnering with MIT, Stanford on autonomous vehicle research
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Ask any car engineer what's the biggest variable in achieving fuel economy targets, and he'll tell you "the driver." If one human can't understand human driving behavior enough to be certain about an innocuous number like miles per gallon, how is an autonomous car supposed to figure out what hundreds of other drivers are going to do in the course of a day? Ford has enlisted the help of Stanford and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to find out.
Starting with the automated Fusion Hybrid introduced in December, MIT will be developing algorithms that driverless cars can use to "predict actions of other vehicles and pedestrians" and objects within the three-dimensional map provided by its four LIDAR sensors.
The Stanford team will research how to extend the 'vision' of that LIDAR array beyond obstructions while driving, analogous to the way a driver uses the entire width of a lane to see what's ahead of a larger vehicle in front. Ford says it wants to "provide the vehicle with common sense" as part of its Blueprint for Mobility, preparing for an autonomous world from 2025 and beyond.
