For Sale is a very nice, clean, well maintained Black 2004 Ford Excursion Limited 4 x 4 Diesel. The truck only has 91,000 miles and we are the second owners, and it still has extended Ford Factory Warranty. The truck is always kept in the garage and has been well maintained including, upper and lower ball joints, axle joints, rear u-joints, tie rods, rotors and brakes all around, replaced steering gear under warranty due to a little drip, and timing chain cover gasket because they found it leaking when they changed the steering gear. We recently had to replace the alternator so we also went ahead and replaced both batteries too. The truck has MBRP stainless steel exhaust from the turbo back and a BANKS 6-Gun diesel tuner with a BANKS IQ monitoring system. This thing gets great mileage and runs very strong as well! The interior is also very nice and clean and we added a JL Audio subwoofer under the front console between the driver and pasenger seats, and a JL Audio amp, all installed by Ovation of Indy that really has great sound. As you can see by the photos the truck is in quite good condition. We also have a trailer brake controller wired in the truck, along with a radar detector that goes with the vehicle. Everything on the truck works! I belive this is one of the cleanest Excursions around and that it will make its next owners a great vehicle too! Ford unveils its facelifted Falcon finale with new XR8
Thu, 24 Jul 2014While its days may be numbered, Ford isn't just going to let its Falcon sedan limp out for the Australian market. No, the Blue Oval is releasing a refreshed Falcon for its final years, and it's lead by this, the new XR8. That's right, this dead-car-driving is going to go out on a high note.
Ford's global design DNA dominates the looks of the new Falcon, with a grille reminiscent of the US market Fusion and the European-market Mondeo. The headlights aren't a straight port, and boast their own unique LED running light pattern (at least on the XR8), but the overall look is strikingly similar. Out back, LED taillights highlight the rear of the Faclon. Despite the substantial new fascia, this is still a mid-cycle refresh. That means most of the rest of the Falcon's body panels are carryovers from the current model.
The XR8 model, shown above, arrives with a supercharged V8, allegedly displacing 5.0 liters. Unfortunately, details on the Falcon's mechanicals are in remarkably short supply. Ford has committed to a range of turbocharged four, as well as turbocharged and naturally aspirated six-cylinders, in addition to the V8, although specifics on those mills aren't available.

Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.
NHTSA probing 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable models over throttle issue
Mon, 29 Oct 2012A potential issue with the speed control cable collar has got the 2003-20003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable under the spotlight of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If the collar breaks it can cause the throttle to be stuck open.
The issue is limited to vehicles with the 3.0-liter V6 Duratec. There are just 50 complaints so far out of 310,000 cars, but the NHTSA has begun an investigation into whether a recall should be issued.
