2004 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer Diesel 4X4
Up for sell is my 2004 Ford Excursion Eddie Bauer Diesel 4X4. This has been a great vehicle for our family. We have taken it on vacations and to numerous soccer tournaments. It glides down the highway and gets 18MPG. I hate to part with her, but I have too many vehicles and need to make room in my garage. We are non-smokers.
This Excursion has the 2nd row bucket seats, which we prefer over the full bench. (It keeps the kids away from each other and makes for easy access to the third row bench seat) It has the rear DVD entertainment package and I have installed a PlayStation 2 with two wireless remotes. (the kids love it on long trips) It comes with two tone leather seats. The front power seats are heated with memory function. My wife likes the power foot pedals, which moves the brake and gas pedal up or down to accommodate for the drivers leg length. Comes with the Ford Trailer package and my trailer brake controller.
It is well maintained and clean. The only blemish is the right front bumper where my wife accidently pulled into a yellow post at Wal-Mart.
Please contact me with any questions.

Ford Fusion getting substantial refresh for 2017
Wed, 13 Aug 2014It's only been a couple of years since Ford rolled out the current Fusion, but if these spy shots are anything to go by, it's already planning what appears to be a substantial update for the mid-size sedan.
According to our paparazzi on the ground, the new Fusion is being prepared for launch late in 2016 or early 2017. Although heavily camouflaged to keep it from prying eyes such as ours, it appears that the updated Fusion will tone down the Aston Martin-style grille, ditch the small corner window with revised front side glass and tweak the vehicle's overall shape. But there's more to the new Fusion than a styling adjustment, and our spy photographers have caught a glimpse inside and taken us along.
Apparently the new Fusion is to get a completely overhauled interior with soft-touch surfaces and matte wood trim to make it seem more upscale. There's an all-new rotary gear selector (like you'd find on a Jaguar, for example) hinting at the implementation of a new nine-speed automatic transmission. The prototype appears to be packing the Microsoft SYNC system, suggesting that the new Blackberry QNX system isn't ready quite yet - though that doesn't necessarily mean it won't be ready by the time the new Fusion is.
Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
