This excursion is in very nice condition as shown in the pictures. Its been very well maintained over the years. It is loaded with options. New last year it had the seats recovered and they look great. It also had all of the stock speakers replaced with Rockford Fosgate equipment and they have a nice and clean sound. It has a Kenwood in-dash DVD system that also plays over the stock rear screen.
Last year the truck was in a small accident and I replaced the bumper, fender, tire and headlight. It came out looking very nice. There is a long scratch in the fender on the front pass side. There are no other significant scratches or dents on the exterior. The drive-train of this truck has treated me very well. I replaced all of the injectors last year, but no other major repairs have ever been required. I have maintained it religiously with Motorcraft filters and have replaced the fuel filters at least twice a year. The rear tires will need to be replaced in the next 10k miles, fronts are new. I strongly encourage any bidders to inspect the pictures closely and to ask any and all questions. I will do my best to accurately describe this truck. Personal inspections by appointment are welcome. The winning bidder is required to make a $1000 Paypal deposit and the balanace will be due in cash on pick-up. Mustang Cobra Jet prototype garners $200k for charity at Barrett-Jackson
Wed, 02 Oct 2013A few weeks ago we brought you news of a one-off Mustang Cobra Jet that Ford was donating to charity. The car was set to be auctioned off by Barrett-Jackson in Las Vegas to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Now that auction has taken place, bringing in an impressive $200,000 for MS research.
That's a lot of zeros for a Mustang, much less one you can't even drive on the street. But the unique pony car, bearing serial number 2014 BJMS CJXX1, packs a 5.0-liter supercharged V8, competition gearbox, wheelie bar, roll cage... all you could want, in short, in a turn-key drag racer. And all that for a good cause.
Ford forced to recall Escape over fire risk yet again

And that's alright, for the most part, because cars are designed (and to a large degree still made) by humans, and humans make mistakes. So we forgive them, as long as the problem is resolved. Only in the case of the Ford Escape, the problem seems to keep coming back.
That's why Ford is calling in the Escape yet again due to fire concerns. The issue revolves around problematic fuel lines in 9,469 units manufactured between October 5, 2011, and July 11, 2012, all of which use the 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine.
As you yourself may recall, the Escape was subject to a string of recalls last year that resulted in a $17 million fine. One of them was over this very same issue, which Ford apparently didn't rectify the first time around. Let's hope this time is the last time.
eBay Find of the Day: 25-station video gaming trailer w/ bonus Ford F-250
Fri, Nov 28 2014Why, you might be asking yourself, is Autoblog showing me an eBay Motors listing for a 2006 Ford F-250 and a box trailer (with a badly cropped photo to boot)? It's not because we're highly interested in this blue-collar rig, to be sure, but rather because we're interested in throwing the greatest Forza party of all time. Housed in that innocuous white 26-foot trailer is a gamer's delight, with 25 Xbox 360 systems connected up to 25 high-definition monitors and 24 headsets to keep everyone locked into the action (one of the stations is outside the trailer). When connected up to one of two included generators, the setup allows for two-dozen combatants to square off, back-to-back and head-to-head. Sure, the Buy It Now price of $79,000 seems steep considering the trailer will need about ten grand worth of Xbox One or Playstation 4 upgrades in the near future.
