2002 Ford Excursion 4x4 Xlt Sport, 9 Pass, Dual A/c, Tow Group on 2040-cars
West Harrison, Indiana, United States
Up For auction at NO RESERVE is my very clean 2002 Ford Excursion. This a very nice SUV, that si had to find much less at a good price. This has been my daily driver, and is always well maintained. I just had a major tuneup done with new coils and plugs wires and filters. The oil is always Mobil1. It has New Tires and Custom wheels. Brakes are recent. This is one of the cleanest Excursions you will find, and it looks GREAT! It starts easy , idles smooth, the transmission shifts smooth and crisp, and brakes stop straight and true. It has the factory tow group with HD radiator, transmission cooler, bigger brakes, and heavy hitch, with wiring. Its ready to tow. The interior, is in excellent condition, no tears rips or stains. It is cloth, with 3+3+3 seating with a fold down center arm rest in front. It had dual heat and A/C, Power windows and locks with 2 keyless remotes.. It has factory running boards so you can get Aunt Minnie in and out with ease. This is a nice SUV, with lots of service left in it.
Buy with confidence with my 100% score. This a no Reserve auction, so the last bidder owns it. if you can buy, DON'T bid. it's that simple.
I require a $500.00 non refundable partial payment at auction end. and the balance within 7 days, I also reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally

Ford car-camo artist works his craft on Australia's new Falcon XR8
Fri, 25 Jul 2014Ford is among the kings of concealment when it comes to test cars. On one recent Mustang SVT mule, the automaker went to the extreme of putting baffles over the exhausts to hide how many there were. Sounds like a lot of work, right? In a new video, the Blue Oval has decided to take fans behind the scenes to show them what it takes to camouflage a prototype. In this case the subject was the recently unveiled 2014 Falcon XR8 for Australia.
Ford's prototype build coordinator Down Under has the very appropriate name of Neil Trickey, and it's his job to obfuscate the important bits of test cars to keep them out of spy shooters' camera lenses. Trickey calls his job a "dark art," and he shows off some of the tricks of his trade in the video. It turns out that the fabric we often see on mules is a type of lycra, but his team isn't above getting out a can of spray paint to conceal parts, too.
Scroll down to watch a video about a man who you probably wish could be a little worse at his job.

Ford S-Max Concept proves minivans aren't always minivans [w/video]
Tue, 10 Sep 2013Ford's latest don't-call-it-a-minivan is called the S-Max Concept, and it's a looker. As you can see, the conceptual overgrown hatch makes good use of Ford's latest design language, especially at the very front of the S-Max, which bears a striking resemblance to production models that include the Focus, C-Max and Fusion.
Powering the S-Max Concept is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, and while Ford doesn't actually list power figures for the concept, previous estimates put the mill at 133 kW of power (about 178 horsepower) and 240 Nm of torque (about 177 pound-feet). Inside, there's room for seven passengers and at least some of their luggage.
As you'd expect, the S-Max is loaded up with all of Ford's latest infotainment technology, including Sync and MyFordTouch. More interestingly, there are also onboard heart and blood glucose monitors that we doubt will be seeing the light of production anytime soon. On that topic, don't expect to see any S-Max-shaped vehicles hitting the US market from Ford, either. Scroll down below for the press release, but not before checking out the high-res image gallery above.
