This has been an awesome truck and you will read I just put 8K into it because its and awesome truck and I won't sell a piece of crap! So on with it!
New tires, brakes, hydroboost, down tubes, rear main seal, turbo tower seal, batteries, alternator.
Equipment:
4" lift, 35" tires on black Weld rims,
Banks Stinger kit
Larger inner cooler, turbo upgrade, 4" exhaust w/5"tip and chip. This entire system is on the CARB list so NO smog issues in Ca. Also this truck is a 48 state so NO cat either.
Amsoil bypass oil filter, trans filter, rear swaybar, rear airbags with in cab pump, trailer brakes, 1000watt amp, Eclipse stereo/navigation/VTR, 10" woofer, infinity door speakers, 10" DVD player/game console with wireless hand controls,

Things to be aware of:
I removed the banks chip BC it was having electrical gremlins which have stopped and I need to send the chip to Banks to be tested. The truck runs perfect in the factory settings just not quick BC no chip.
There are some minor dings, scratches, normal for a truck thats been well used and cared for. clear coat peeling on the rear lid (typical on ALL Excursions) and fading on the fender flares. When I purchsed the truck the drivers seat foam  sagged as shown in the picture, it never bothered me enough to replace. Caused from exiting mostly. If you buy you'll see what I mean. The rear tv latch is broken so the screen doesn't stow nicely (the joy of kids) it works fine. You can also watch why ever is play on the DVR on the front screen.
I have owned this truck since 05, it gets on average 16mpg sometimes better sometimes worse depending on my mood. I love this thing, but the kids are grown, the wife is now called X so no more family trips and its more than I need. I just invested almost 8K bringing up to snuff and it sits mostly under a cover in the driveway. I drive it a couple times a week to keep the batteries up and oil surfaces wet.
If you have any questions you can email me and we'll go from there. It is listed locally so it might just disappear before you know it!    I may consider a VW Bus Camper in trade, but it needs to be up to snuff!

Volkswagen's latest ad is not subtle | Autoblog Podcast #509

Fri, Mar 24 2017

On this week's podcast, Mike Austin and David Gluckman are joined by special guest James Riswick, who has been driving a lot of new cars lately. All of them are discussed, plus a few more from Mike and David, and Mike rants a bit about a new VW Atlas commercial. The episode wraps up with the traditional doling out of Spend My Money buying advice, during which David briefly goes out into left field. (He's back now, don't worry.) The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too. Jim Farley to lead Ford of Europe

Fri, 07 Nov 2014

"We are excited to see Jim and Stephen take on these new roles as they bring unique skills, experience and fresh perspectives to these critical positions." - Mark Fields
Ford marketing chief Jim Farley is taking over the company's troubled European operations as part of an executive shuffle confirmed on Friday morning.

Mulally wanted to kill Lincoln as late as last year, Fields vows to turn it around

Mon, 30 Jun 2014

Lincoln fans might want to give incoming Ford CEO Mark Fields a pat on the back for having a hand in saving the brand from the chopping block last year. He's among the people spearheading the rejuvenation of the division away from its stodgy image to appeal to younger customers.
According to two unnamed sources speaking to Bloomberg, CEO Alan Mulally was ready to kill Lincoln last year. Following the slow production ramp-up of the MKZ combined a with a costly ad campaign, Mulally was frustrated and openly suggested dropping the brand. However, Fields and Jim Farley, Ford's marketing boss, convinced the CEO that the brand was worth saving. They also created a plan to prevent similar problems for new models in the future.
It seems that one part of the strategy may involve waiting until new models are at dealers before starting a big ad campaign for them. Lincoln global director, Matt VanDyke, recently told Autoblog that the division is holding off on a full marketing push behind the new MKC crossover to prevent the supply problems that plagued the MKZ last year. Its big offensive begins in the fall when the CUVs are at all of the dealers and consumers are at home watching more TV. VanDyke also told Bloomberg that Fields, Farley and Joe Hinrichs, Ford president of the Americas, have more direct oversight over new product launches now.
