1983 Ford Escort Exp on 2040-cars
Picayune, Mississippi, United States
Paint is recent Matte black has some very small dents no rust. Seats are all there but front are gonna need covering. Back has NO SEATS AT ALL (never did have them), A/C don't work I don't know why ( I haven't looked into why as yet). Needs some minor work (heater core and water pump is bad, front end parts could stand replacing, tie rods is all that's left to do) everything else has been changed, new struts, shocks, cv shafts, belts, fan motor, I know I'm forgetting something but drives fine as is would be a good starter car or hack around/fishing or make it into a Rally racer, Motor has only 104k miles runs really good I drive it every day to and from work I bought it after it was sitting for a while did a few things and have been driving it daily till I found the water pump is bad. Has good glass currently parked but up to date plates. I like the car and all But I have too many and need to sell a few.

'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.

Jay Leno and Lee Iacocca reflect on 50 years of Ford Mustang
Mon, 30 Dec 2013Lee Iacocca oversaw the birth of the Ford Mustang back in the 1960s, rocketing the new pony car nameplate into million-unit sales territory in its initial go-round and cementing its place in the history books. Thus, we were immediately drawn to this latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, in which the funnyman hosts Iacocca for a look at the origins of Ford's most iconic sports car. The legendary auto exec is looking notably more frail than when we last saw him, but if we're being asked around as a video guest when we're 89 years old, we'll consider that evidence of a life well lived.
Serial No. 0001 is on hand for the occasion for Jay's romp through history, as is the historic Mustang 1 showcar from 1962. Of course, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT (in prototype form) makes an appearance at the end of the episode with chief engineer Dave Pericak, as well. Get some, below.
