Car's Environment
This car has always been garage kept and in a smoke free environment.  Car has never been in an accident (as verified on the eBay History), no body work, no noted rust.

Use
This car was purchased from a dealer when it was 8 months old.  80% of the mileage was highway driving between NJ and Univ. of Maryland for 4 years, the rest of the time was a country environment with no abusive roads, no NY (pothole) driving.  This car is immaculate in and out, see pictures including the engine compartment.  This car has 4 wheel drive, great for snow, but has never been driven in the snow so as to remain free of snow melting corrosive road "salt".

Care
Routine maintenance has always been done to include oil and filter changes every +/- 3,500 miles, last oil & filter change was 75 miles past.  Brakes were replaced 14,200 miles ago.  Besides being in a Ford dealership (July 3) for a checking of this car last week, the following "preventive work" was also done so we may consider that this car is probably in superior condition to any other used car in its class.  Extra "Preventive Work" recently  includes the all systems Serpentine Belt replacement, ignition coil(s) replacement, new sway bar linkages and water pump replacement.  Based on all Ford recalls received, all have been complied with.

History
I will have his report and all the past history reports available.  Please note the HISTORY OF THIS CAR is available, just click-on "See the Full History Report" located by the "VIN" number...

Includes & Asking
This Escape has all the standard accessories but additionally includes a 6 CD player, double floor mats, and fog lights.  Based on some selling research of vehicles in "generally" good condition "as reported" but many without the maintenance records and reported care put into this car, were in the range of $7,400 to $8,200.  Considering the condition and care which was placed in this car and its totally favorable history as well as another set of tires mounted on TSW web performance wheels, the asking price of this care is $7,750.

Ken Block's 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR and CR Supercars Villain are retro done right

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Gymkhana king Ken Block has had a pretty simple car history in his trademark videos, starting out with Subaru Impreza rally cars before moving into Ford Focus racers for the past four installments. His next video, though, Gymkhana Seven, kind of goes back in time.
Rather than the cutting-edge rally racers of past videos, Block will pilot a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang, called the Hoonicorn. How heavily modified is it? Well, Block's Hooligan Racing Division, ASD Motorsports and Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR, spent two years working on it, ditching the standard engine and rear-wheel-drive layout and replacing it with a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates V8. Yes, that's a NASCAR engine, and it produces 845 horsepower.
A NASCAR-powered Mustang would be news in itself, but it's the other powertrain changes made by Block and Co. that really makes headlines. Power is channeled through a one-off Sadev transmission and all-wheel-drive system, meaning that Block has basically married a NASCAR stock car with a WRC racer. ASD also developed the customized suspension, tubular chassis and roll cage. The wide Mustang body is the work of RTR and Block's own Hoonigan Racing Division, while the 18-inch fifteen52 wheels are shod in Pirelli Trofeo R tires that use a specialized compound exclusive to Block.

Jay Leno and Lee Iacocca reflect on 50 years of Ford Mustang

Mon, 30 Dec 2013

Lee Iacocca oversaw the birth of the Ford Mustang back in the 1960s, rocketing the new pony car nameplate into million-unit sales territory in its initial go-round and cementing its place in the history books. Thus, we were immediately drawn to this latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage, in which the funnyman hosts Iacocca for a look at the origins of Ford's most iconic sports car. The legendary auto exec is looking notably more frail than when we last saw him, but if we're being asked around as a video guest when we're 89 years old, we'll consider that evidence of a life well lived.
Serial No. 0001 is on hand for the occasion for Jay's romp through history, as is the historic Mustang 1 showcar from 1962. Of course, the all-new 2015 Ford Mustang GT (in prototype form) makes an appearance at the end of the episode with chief engineer Dave Pericak, as well. Get some, below.
