2009 Ford Escape XLT with 19,500 original miles.

My grandfather was the original and only owner of the vehicle up until a couple months ago when I inherited it. It is in superb condition with incredibly low miles.
Never been in an accident. I have a clean clear title in hand ready to transfer to a new owner.
2.5 L I4 engine. 6 speed auto transmission
power driver seat
cruise control
am/fm CD player
MP3 player
SAT radio
Auto input jack
ice cold air conditioning
super hot heater
tinted windows
dual front, side and safety canopy airbags for front and rear
Tires are Michelins with approximately 80% tread remaining.

The car runs and drives great
Nothing wrong with it. It needs nothing.
I have every book, record and receipt for the vehicle including the original window sticker.

Cosmetically it is in beautiful shape. The interior shows slight wear on one spot of the steering wheel the rest of the vehicle almost looks new (smells new). There are small scratches and a small split on the rear bumper that I have pictured.

The oil was last changed at 17,500 miles the tires were rotated and the front end aligned. A complete check of all systems was done with nothing in need of repair or replacement.
The Escape is registered through August of 2015

To sum it up: This is a low milage car in fantastic condition, ready for a new owner.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would verify the form of payment you will be using prior to ending the auction.
Thank you

    Project Ugly Horse: Part V

    Mon, 11 Feb 2013

    The Slippery Slope
I've had a healthy appreciation for cars that stop since one truly unfortunate incident with a runaway 1971 Lincoln Continental.
It's funny how quickly a party can turn from, "We're all having blast" to "What happened to the front of the house, and how many stitches do you think this is going to take?" Standing in a Mustang salvage shop in Kodak, Tennessee, I couldn't help but feel I had strayed into the latter territory with Ugly Horse. There was a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 plucked from a rear-ended Cobra sitting off to my left. The shelves were lined with second-hand Roush and SVT components galore, but I couldn't stop staring at a set of rotors with the approximate diameter of my chest.

Volkswagen's latest ad is not subtle | Autoblog Podcast #509

    Fri, Mar 24 2017

On this week's podcast, Mike Austin and David Gluckman are joined by special guest James Riswick, who has been driving a lot of new cars lately. All of them are discussed, plus a few more from Mike and David, and Mike rants a bit about a new VW Atlas commercial. The episode wraps up with the traditional doling out of Spend My Money buying advice, during which David briefly goes out into left field. (He's back now, don't worry.) The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too. Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line

    Wed, 05 Jan 2011

The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
