Description
Up for sale is a gorgeous 2012 Ford Escape Limited AWD SUV equipped with a strong yet fuel efficient 3.0L V6 engine and Automatic transmission. This Ford has just 5k original miles on the clock and it runs and drives LIKE NEW! We have recently purchased the truck from an insurance company with water damage announcement. When we got the truck, water level appeared to be just enough to wet the carpet. There were NO signs of water in the engine or transmission.
We have carefully inspected the vehicle and flushed fluids to make sure there is no water there. We have also checked the wiring and connectors, professionally detailed the interior and installed a brand new battery. The truck runs and drives GREAT with no problems. Engine, transmission and all electrical components including power seat, windows, Navigation, blower motor etc. work fine. The interior is very clean with no rips or odors of any kind. This is a NON-smoker vehicle. All tires are still in great shape.
The insurance company did not attempt to start the vehicle or verify mileage at time of sale due to previous water damage. That's why they marked "Not actual miles" on the paperwork. The actual mileage on this Ford is just 5039 miles!
This Escape is fully loaded with a gorgeous Tan Leather interior, Navigation System, Back-Up Camera, Microsoft SYNC, Power Seat, Heated Seats, Dual Climate Control, Bluetooth, Parking Sensors, Power Windows, locks and mirrors, Cruise Control, Side Airbags, Factory Alloy Wheels, Fog Lights, Sun/Moonroof, Tow Package, CD and much more! The truck comes with rebuilt NY title. It has already passed NY salvage inspection, so you should be able to register it in any state with no problems.
This Ford runs and drives great, engine and transmission work 100%. There are NO leaks or noises of any kind, NO warning lights on the dash, NO stories! Ford has issued a small - but significant - recall for one of its spotlight cars: the 2015 Mustang.
The recall affects just 53 cars, with 50 in the United States and three in Canada. Ford said the passenger side safety belt buckle tension sensor may not have been calibrated properly by the supplier. This could lead to "misclassification" of the passenger seat occupant, and could cause the airbag to deploy improperly.
A Ford spokesperson didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. In a statement, the automaker said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries, and dealers will replace the buckle assembly at no cost to customers. The cars affected were built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan from Aug. 18 to Oct. 2.

Typically, we'd expect a vehicle from 2006 to fall well short of a more modern vehicle, both in terms of performance and style. Of course, the Ford GT is not your average offering from the Bush era. That's doubly true when the 2006 GT in question belongs to one Chip Foose.
Purchased by his wife as a 50th birthday present, Foose is showing his custom, personalized GT at the 2014 SEMA Show. The 5.4-liter supercharged V8 breathes a bit easier thanks to a full Magnaflow Performance exhaust, but Foose's GT isn't all about the performance.
Instead, the car customizer extraordinaire has focused on tasteful aesthetic enhancement, tweaking the rear end by removing the bumper and trimming the frame extensions. The wheels, meanwhile, are one-off aluminum alloys, designed by Foose himself. Like the stripes, the wheels feature orange accenting.

If you want to see a Ford racing prototype, you need look no further than the United SportsCar Championship, where the Blue Oval fields two Daytona Prototypes powered by an EcoBoost-branded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6. But according to the latest rumors, that may not be enough for Ford, which has as much brand to promote overseas as it does back home.
That could be why Racer magazine is reporting that Ford may be poised to return to Le Mans in the coming years. As we all know, Ford competed at Le Mans in the mid-through-late '60s, bringing home four consecutive overall wins with the legendary GT40. The new program would not, according to Racer, seek to relive those glory days, but would instead compete for class wins in the LMP2 category.
Currently, LMP2 regulations are somewhat split between the United SportsCar Championship in North America on the one hand and ACO-sanctioned series like the European Le Mans Series, Asian Le Mans Series and FIA World Endurance Championship on the other, but plans are underway for the regulations to be unified in time for the 2017 season. That could be when Ford is targeting its return, allowing it to compete on both sides of the Atlantic to maximize its exposure.
