Hello you are bidding on a very nice 2013 Ford Edge Limited with only 12,490 miles. The vehicle starts and lot drives fine. The vehicle has good radiator and ac condenser. The front suspension cradle and front suspension are also ok. The vehicle could be driven home but there is a piece of suspension that is damage on the left rear, a lower link bar. The vehicle is in great shape except for the damage on the vehicle. The left frame rail is also in great shape. The right inner fender structure does have some damage on it but will repair. The vehicle will need the following parts, left front door, left fender, driver airbag, 2 wheels, 2 tires, front bumper cover, left headlight, and left inner fender liner. The left rocker also has damage to it that will need to be addressed. The parts are available at car-part or on www ebay com for great deals on new and used parts. The right side of the vehicle is in great shape except for a minor blemish on the right front door. The left rear door and left quarter has some damage on them that will also need to be repaired. The vehicle is for sale locally and we do reserve the right to end the auction early. The vehicle is being sold as is with KY salvage title. MotorWeek finds nice things to say about the 1993 Ford Probe
Tue, Mar 8 2016This latest in MotorWeek's series of Retro Reviews continues its recent trend of remembering the massive glut of sports coupes that hit the market in the '90s. While vehicles like the Mitsubishi 3000GT, Mazda RX-7, and Ford Mustang all enjoy solid reputations down to this day, the 1993 Ford Probe, well... doesn't. As you'll soon see, though, the show's opinion suggests the coupe's second generation isn't really all that bad. Turns out they just weren't particularly sporty. Ford and Mazda developed the Probe together, and the Japanese company supplied both the base 115-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder and the 164-hp 2.5-liter V6 in the GT trim. The original's pseudo-angular look gave way to a much smoother shape for the second generation. Of course, pop-up headlights remained, which were a design hallmark for many of this era's sports coupes. After driving it, MotorWeek proclaims the Probe is "a winner" and considers the handling a "delight." That's not a big surprise, considering that in those days, a car had to be really bad not to get a decent review from Television's Original Automotive Magazine. However, the show hints at some of the reasons the coupe isn't so well remembered today. Even the GT reportedly suffers from soft springs and lots of understeer, which sounds like exactly the opposite anyone hoping to drive the coupe enthusiastically would want. To sum it all up, we're sure you're just as happy as we are that Ford went back on its initial plan to shelve the Mustang in favor of the front-drive Probe. Related Video:
Oprah at it again, gives car away on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Oprah Winfrey loves giving away cars. Not only has she given Pontiac G6 sedans and Volkswagen Beetle retro-mobiles to everyone in the audience of her past show, but the other night on Jimmy Kimmel Live! she gave another car away to one lucky audience member, while yelling her now-famous line: "You get a car!"
Although the acting of Oprah and Jimmy Kimmel was obviously staged for this giveaway, the reaction from the woman in the audience was genuine shock as she found out that she had just won a new Ford Fusion Energi. Congrats!
Not to take away from what Oprah and Jimmy pulled off, but our cynical sides have to wonder if there isn't more than just a little coincidence that this giveaway took place on the same day that Ford announced a fuel economy reduction for the C-Max hybrid. 1964 Ford GT40 prototype sells for $7M
Mon, 14 Apr 2014Seven-figure Ferraris are not horribly rare. Heck, an eight-figure Ferrari isn't a rare occurrence. Between modern masterpieces like the Enzo and more classic offerings, cracking the million-dollar mark isn't a particularly tall order for the cars from Maranello. For a Ford, though, it's a big deal.
Now, this is not just some rare Mustang. This is a GT40, the car that Henry Ford II commissioned to whip Enzo Ferrari around a track in France. As far as the Le Mans-winning racers go, they don't get much rarer than this one. Sold at the Mecum Auctions in Houston, this is one of the prototypes, meaning it's one of the very first GT40s ever built. That makes its $7 million winning a bid, a record for on-air coverage of the auction, a pretty darn impressive figure.
