Handicapped Van with wheel chair lift, I used this van to transport a grand piano that I bought and it weight at least 500 plus it had the weight of two people so there is at least another 400 lbs, it works perfect and there is a wheel chair tie down in the center of the van. The seats lift up for more space, this would be great for a church, school ,or a large family, if I keep it I'll turn it into a small RV. It has a raised roof with front and rear ice cold A/C. The van runs perfect in every way, it has the best diesel motor that I think was every built the 7.3 The miles are low for a diesel these motors go way over 500K before needing overhaul. NOTICE- This is what the dealer auction announced at the sale that caused the van to have a major issue as they put it ,at the time of the sale, The car fax shows no accidents, so this shows that the dealer auction was wrong, a lot of time they announce this on a lot of cars and trucks to make sure that they are covered in case there ever was a accident. I did not think anything about it when I bought it because I had run a car fax on it before the sale and new that there was no issue. Read the complete report and you will see what I'm saying is true. This is one very nice van that we have driven to the beach with no problems, I will give a 90 day warranty with the van in writing .

They're pretty darn similar. And yet our views are oh so different.
If you guys could read the transcripts of our editors' chat room, you'd know that we're a pretty argumentative bunch. It's always good-spirited stuff (well, usually), but when we're not obsessively covering this or that, we're usually fighting about one car being better than another. We're all enthusiasts here, and our automotive tastes run the gamut from the weird and unusual to the decidedly mainstream - we all feel strongly about specific cars in a given segment. While it usually makes for good conversation, if we're passionate enough, it can turn into a tomato-throwing showdown.

DoJ fines Japanese parts firms $740M in massive automotive price-fixing scandal

Nine Japanese suppliers have pleaded guilty in US court over charges of price fixing in the automotive parts industry, resulting in the Department of Justice doling out a total of $740 million of fines, according to a report from Bloomberg. The scandal, which has resulted in General Motors, Ford, Toyota and Chrysler spending up to $5 billion on inflated parts and driving up prices on 25 million vehicles has sent the DoJ hustling into investigations. "The conduct this investigation uncovered involved more than a dozen separate conspiracies aimed at the U.S. economy," Attorney General Eric Holder (pictured above) said during yesterday's press conference.
As the investigation stands, the DoJ has issued $1.6 billion in fines against 20 companies and 21 individual executives, with 17 of the execs headed to prison. Deputy Assistant Attorney General Scott Hammond said, "The breadth of the conspiracies brought to light today are as egregious as they are pervasive. They involve more than a dozen separate conspiracies operating independently but all sharing in common that they targeted US automotive manufacturers."
Big-name suppliers indicted in the investigation include Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Hitachi Automotive and Mitsuba Corporation. A list of fines and other corporations named in the investigation is available at Bloomberg.

The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
