UP FOR SALE IS A NEAR COMPLETED SHUTTLE BUS THAT I WAS CONVERTING INTO A PARTY BUS. MY REMODELING BUSINESS KEEPS ME SO BUSY THAT I NEVER HAVE THE TIME TO FINISH IT. AS YOU CAN SEE, IT NEEDS THE FABRIC FOR THE SEATS (ANY TEAM COLOR YOU MAY LIKE) AS WELL AS THE BLINDS INSTALLED. LIGHTING IS UP TO YOU. IT HAS A WATER PROOF FLOOR NEWLY INSTALLED THAT LOOKS LIKE BLACK HARD WOOD. THE ICE CHEST / BAR JUST NEEDS A COVER MATERIAL OF YOUR CHOICE SO IT DOESNT LOOK LIKE PLY WOOD. I ACTUALLY HAVE MOST OF THE MATERIAL TO FINISH THIS BUS ACTUALLY. THE SOUND SYSTEM IS TOP OF THE LINE, WITH A SUB WOOFER, AND SOUNDS AMAZING. ME AND THE GUYS JUST TOOK IT ON A 5 HOUR ROAD TRIP, AND IT WAS A BLAST EVEN IN ITS UNFINISHED CONDITION. I AM WILLING TO FINISH IT FOR THE RIGHT PRICE IF SOMEONE WANTS A FINISHED PRODUCT, JUST CONTACT ME. LASTLY, IT IS A DIESEL MOTOR, SO THIS MILEAGE IS IT JUST BREAKING IN. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. THANKS!

2014 Ford Transit Connect Taxi hopes to fare thee well
Mon, 23 Sep 2013New York City may have selected its taxi of tomorrow, but there are still plenty of municipalities across the US with citizens that depend on yellow livery cars to get them across town in a jiffy. That's why Ford is going ahead with this, the new Transit Connect Taxi.
Based on the 2014 Transit Connect, the TC Taxi boasts a number of features designed to make the compact van appeal to discerning taxi drivers and their fares, with the most notable upgrade being a standardized prep package to convert the 2.5-liter four to run on liquefied petroleum or compressed natural gas. The clean-burning fuel options will allow operators to save on fuel costs and cut down on pollution without sacrificing performance.
A lower load floor and a new twist-beam rear suspension are meant to improve the riding experience for passengers, while the longer 2014 Transit Connect sports extra cargo space as well. In addition to the CNG/LPG conversion, the Transit Connect Taxi can also be easily modified for wheelchair access. Drivers, meanwhile, will have access to optional goodies like Sync with MyFord Touch and a rear-view camera.
How Ford secretly used customers to test its aluminum F-150 [w/video]
Fri, 30 May 2014Automakers getting clever about disguising development vehicles isn't anything new. Between mules wearing the sheetmetal of other cars and prototypes decked out in as much camouflage as is practical, automakers know how to make it very difficult for the general public to get an exact idea of what kind of vehicle is in development. Ford, though, is rapidly becoming the master.
We knew that the Blue Oval originally tested the durability of the aluminum construction being used for the 2015 F-150 by building an all-aluminum 2014 truck and entering it in the Baja 1000 off-road race. That's no longer a secret. What we didn't know, though, is that the aluminum development dates back to before even that, and that some of the people in question had no idea what it was they were working with.
Ford says this is the first time prototypes have ever been handed over to the public.
Ford's official Euro aftermarket partner Mountune coming to US
Tue, 06 Aug 2013Now that we're getting a steady stream of Ford's European offerings, the aftermarket world is finally starting to catch up as well. UK-based aftermarket tuning company, Mountune has just announced that it will be setting up shop in California to provide high-performance and racing parts for Ford vehicles including the Focus ST and Fiesta ST.
Mountune lays claim to being Ford's "official European tuning partner," and US buyers will soon have access to these parts through Ford dealerships and with a Ford Racing warranty. Speaking of Ford Racing, Mountune also says that it will be working with Ford's in-house team to develop future components for both street and track. There are no specifics as of yet for which products will be offered here, but the company plans to launch a US-specific website later this month with more information.
