I am selling a 2003 Ford E-350 Ambulance with the conversion being done by McCoy Miller. The ambulance was used as a transport ambulance until a few months ago and has been stored since. The vehicel was fleet maintained and has had all required service work performed. The vehicle has two 1-week old batteries and starts right up even after sitting for a few days. The inspection mechanic says the van will need 1 tire to pass PA State inspection as well as one rear leaf spring has a broken leaf that must be replaced. We did just put one rear caliper on the van. The interior is in good shape, the cab shows some wear, as does the mod, although the action area is in nice shape. There is some surface rust above the windshield as well as behind the rear wheel. The vehicle has no drips underneath, all systems on it worked perfect at the time we removed it from service. Please feel free to ask questions via ebay or call 202-681-4510 ask for Jamie. No medical equipment, and no stretcher are included in the sale. The vehicle is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS.
AS PER EBAY POLICY THE LIGHTS AND SIRENS HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED AND WILL BE ONLY RECONNECTED FOR AUTHORIZED PURCHASERS.

Time to catch up with Jay Leno's Garage, including his Lamborghini Espada restoration
Tue, Dec 23 2014If you're already jealous of the time, effort and money that Jay Leno can devote to his massive car collection, prepare to get a little greener with envy with this latest video from Jay Leno's Garage. Instead of the usual format of discussing a model for about ten minutes and then taking it out for a test drive, this week Leno gives viewers on a tour of over a dozen projects concurrently happening in his stable. The breadth of the vehicles shown and the things being done to them run the entire span of the automotive hobby. At the same time, Jay's shop is working on just a simple restoration of his 1969 Lamborghini Espada (pictured), and at the other side of the building, the team is rebuilding a wood-bodied 1914 Detroit Electric from scratch. He eventually plans to slot a more modern electric drivetrain into it. If bikes are more your interest, there's a freshly completed Brough Superior just waiting for a ride, and if American models are your thing, a Ford Bronco is getting a Coyote V8 installed into it. You have some very specific tastes if you can't watch this clip and start wishing at least one of these vehicles could be in your own garage. Other than the personal projects his mechanics are working on in the shop, Jay gets to have them all, plus plenty more.
2015 Ford Mustang GT road test ride-along
Wed, 24 Sep 2014You've no doubt already pored over our first drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang, where author Jonathon Ramsey proclaimed that "this new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment." And following Ramsey's first stint behind the wheel of Ford's new coupe, we sent him back out with another 'Stang to capture some of these same impressions over a backdrop of the car moving quickly along gorgeous California canyon roads.
But this also gave our author and editors time to read through the hundreds of comments left on that original Mustang review. You readers are indeed a vocal bunch, and one particular comment about how the automotive media is so willing to bash an outgoing car as soon as the new one arrives really caught our attention. In this video, Ramsey stands by his written text, saying the new Mustang is "massively better than the one it replaces," and in doing so, addresses your comments while providing more insight into just how good the Ford truly is.
We won't spoil the rest for you. Check out the feature video above, and as always, leave us your thoughts in the Comments section below.
Ring Brothers shows 1965-66 Mustang fastback carbon fiber body
Thu, 07 Nov 2013We covered one of Ring Brothers' more extreme SEMA builds yesterday, the De Tomaso Pantera-based ADRNLN, but if that well-executed but over-the-top Italian-American exotic is too much for you, then perhaps this Ring Brothers 1965 Ford Mustang fastback with a carbon-fiber body suits your tastes better.
What the performance-parts manufacturer is showcasing with the Mustang is the carbon-fiber body itself, which is fashioned around the 1965-66 fastback. It can be bought from the company and bonded to the skin and unibody as a do-it-yourself project, or you can take your Mustang to Ring Brothers and have the body installed there. The fenders, doors and quarter panels are two-inches wider than stock, and Ring Brothers offers a custom widebody chassis to those who want the complete package.
The show car looks sharp in person lowered on HRE wheels, and we appreciate the bare front end so we can see the supercharged V8 and front coilover suspension, though the details on those performance upgrades are slim. Also note the custom independent rear suspension setup at the rear.
