I'm selling my very well maintained 2002 Ford E250 Econoline Conversion Van, the conversion was done by Eclipse conversions, this is the highest end model they made, called the Signature Select edition.
Features:
- Only 70k original miles, this is very low for a van like this
- Automatic, extra heavy duty transmission
- 5.4 liter V-8 Triton motor, this is a great strong motor, they go for well over 200k miles easily
- Air Conditioning on both front and rear (independently controlled)
- Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Cruise Control, Dual Air Bags, tilt steering wheel
- ABS (4 wheel) with Premium Chrome-plated Rims
- 6-disc CD Changer
- Extremely well maintained, I have all the maintenance records. The van has always been parked on pavement and most times covered from the weather. You can see by the paint the van is in excellent shape, NO rust anywhere
- Eclipse Signature Edition - the highest most luxurious edition, this van has all the bells and whistles
- Leather electronic captain seating in the front, plus leather captain seating in the rear, extremely comfortable
- Limo LED lighting all throughout the ceiling of the van, makes for a very nice interior lighting effect
- Electronic rear leather bench that reclines to a full size bed, great for sleeping on long road trips
- Full pull down shades on all windows, great for privacy while sleeping
- Huge side windows fully tinted (privacy glass), makes for great viewing of landscapes, etc. on road trips
- 2 Televisions, 2 audio systems, rear input jacks for headphones, game hookup, etc. (great for kids on long road trips)
- built-in AC power inverter, allows you to plug standard wall outlet appliances in
- built-in air compressor
Some extras not normally found on these type of vans..
- Heavy duty towing packaging, 10k pounds towing capacity
- Transmission Cooler system for towing, really protects your transmission
- Built in electric brake system for towing large trailers with electric brakes
- Upgraded Alarm System
- Remote Engine Start/Stop with keychain remote
I hate to sell the van, but we are downsizing to a smaller SUV. This van has been meticulously maintained. There is absolutely nothing that needs fixing, replacing, etc. The tires and brakes have plenty of life left. I just did a major tune-up 1k miles ago, I changed all spark plugs, ignition coils, fluids, belts, etc. (this was an expensive tune-up). A brand new alternator was installed less than 5k miles ago. The van runs Amsoil fully synthetic oil which is changed every 5k miles (this is one of the best oils you can buy). I have all the records for oil changes, parts replacements, etc.
This Van is extremely hard to find, it sits on the F-250 frame, it's very heavy duty, much tougher than the 150 series vans. I would be shocked if you could find a van like this in better condition with this low of miles such as mine. I'm positive that this van will run for many more years and at least another 150k miles. This van lived most of it's life in Florida under covered parking, so there is no rust, no road salt corrosion, and the paint still looks new from staying covered most of it's life. Almost all of the miles on the van are highway miles going back and forth from the northeast to Florida.

This woman owns the first Ford Mustang sold in the US
Wed, 11 Dec 2013As Ford celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Mustang with the unveiling of the all-new sixth-gen design, one Chicago women can lay claim to a piece of Mustang history. According to CBS Chicago, Gail Wise was the first person in the US to buy a Mustang in 1964, and she did so two days before the car was even unveiled to the public.
Wise, then a 22-year-old teacher, went into the Chicago Ford dealership wanting to buy a convertible, and a salesperson ushered her over to car covered by a tarp. That car was a baby blue Mustang convertible, which she still owns today - along with the documentation. After sitting for almost 30 years and undergoing a full restoration, the car now looks to be in original condition. The report says that this $3,400 purchase could be worth anywhere between $100,000 and $250,000. While this worked out well for Mrs. Wise, we wouldn't recommend anyone going into a dark, back room of a dealership hoping to get a jump on the purchase of a 2015 Mustang.

Ken Block ain't got a care about ruining his wheels
Tue, 22 Jan 2013During a drifting session at Irwindale Speedway in California, Ken Block made a boo-boo that would send a number of drivers immediately back to the infield. But there's an answer to "What do you do when you bash the wall while drifting and your wheel explodes?" and there's completely different answer when the question begins with the phrase, "When you're Ken Block..."
Instead of us telling you how Block handled the calamity in his Ford Fiesta competition car, you can watch it happen in the video below. You can probably also guess what it is - but it's more fun to watch.
2015 Ford C-Max gets a corporate nose job [w/video]
Thu, 02 Oct 2014Ford might not have the splashiest booth here at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, but the automaker is showing off quite a bit of hardware that will actually end up on roads across Europe. Parisians are no doubt tickled at getting to see the specifications of the Mustang tuned for The Continent (which has a revised suspension for European roads, and a few visual nips and tucks), in addition to the revised face of the family-friendly C-Max.
As you can see, C-Max styling has been revisited with a deft touch, grafting Ford's six-sided corporate grille on the nose, in place of the outgoing car's two-part affair. New headlights can also be found on the car's revised front fascia, though the rear end of the C-Max looks only slightly different than the current version.
Inside the cabin, Ford has consolidated controls and upped the ante in terms of material quality, with "black satin" and chrome details and more storage capacity, overall. Grocery-lugging moms and dads everywhere should appreciate the hands-free liftgate feature, as well.
