Americans will get a four-cylinder Ford Mustang after all? [w/poll]

Ask and you shall receive. Remember that previous report suggesting that the 2015 Ford Mustang getting a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, and that it would be sold in Europe only and not the United States? Well, according to Road & Track, the rumor is only partially true - The Mustang will get the engine, but it is indeed coming to America.
Additionally, according to RT, the 3.7-liter V6 will continue to serve as the base engine, and since it offers up a stout 305 horsepower in its current form, it's likely that the 2.3-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost will produce a bit more than that. At the top of the range, the Mustang GT will continue to soldier on with a V8 engine, which should continue to send over 400 horsepower to the rear wheels.
Finally, while we agree 100 percent with RT's heartfelt request for a paddle-shift automatic, we certainly expect that the EcoBoost 'Stang will be offered with a manual transmission as standard equipment. This is a Mustang, after all...

From his Fiesta HFHV to his '65 Mustang Hoonicorn, the inimitable Ken Block has some awesome machinery at his disposal. But arguably the coolest of the bunch is the RaptorTrax. Based on the previous-gen Ford F-150 SVT Raptor - the one with the steel frame and V8 engine - Block's back country snowmobile on steroids packs a set of tracks at each corner, a full roll cage, equipment rack, lighting, jump seats, survival gear... everything he could need for a trip off road. The Gymkhana master showcased the beast a couple of months ago on the slopes of Baldface in Nelson, BC, but now he's followed up with a less eye-popping but more informative clip in which he shows us everything his RaptorTrax has to offer. Ken Block's Gymkhana franchise may have started with Subaru, but it's most closely associated with Ford, which the rally star joined way back in 2010. That fruitful partnership has spawned a number of Gymkhanas, and Block even showed up to help introduce the new Focus RS. To honor this, Ford Australia has come up with an adorable parody (for lack of a better word), starring the hero Sun Block. Rather than a full-scale rally Fiesta piloted by a Vegemite-munching Aussie, though, Ford of Oz has gone tiny for its tribute. Really tiny. The product is Beachkhana 1.0 – Wild on the Beaches of Australia, is a funky little stop-motion feature using tiny, 1:43-scale cars in much the same manner as Mr. Block drives his Fiesta rally car. It even pokes some fun at Mercedes-Benz's hilarious Magic Body Control ad. Check it out.
