Up for sale is a my RV I purchased in 2006 from the original owner and traveled to many places for five years and really enjoyed it however, over the last few years as my family grows older it is being used less and less. So I am offering it at a reasonable price for the next owner. Here's a well maintained Class C Motor Home. This is a 2001 30 foot Yellowstone Sport model with a generator. A great family motor home loaded with lots of storage inside and out. 104k miles, all appliances, exterior, and interior are in good working order. This is the Yellowstone Sport model on a Ford 450 Chassis with the 6.8L Triton V10 gas engine (delivering 305 hp and 420ft-lp of torque at 3250RPM -- plenty of power!). There is an on-board generator, gas water heater, heat and air. Sofa slides out into a bed in the rear of the coach is a queen sized bed with a closet and overhead cabinets. Mid-coach is full shower and bathroom with toilet and sink with lots of counter space and cabinet below. The main living space features both a dinette and a full sized sofa that also makes into a bed with cabinets all overhead. Across from the sofa and dinette is the kitchen with a double sink, microwave oven with range hood that vents outside, a 3-burner gas range, with oven, refrigerator and freezer that runs on electric or propane. Plenty of storage in kitchen area for pots, pans, food, and sundries. There is an a section for entertainment area however I never installed a tv (your suppose to be enjoying the outdoors anyway). Bunk over driving compartment opens to a large queen sized sleeping area with privacy curtain. All walls are papered in easy-to-maintain vinyl wall paper. All windows have pleated day-night shades except for the kitchen which has a mini blind. I installed new velour captains chairs 4 years and AM/FM CD Player with Sirius XM capable. One compartment on the driver's side rear features all the connections for water, electric, and outdoor shower. I installed a new awning four months ago. I have a Blue Ox tow bar that goes with the RV.

Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a lean, mean, Z/28-fighting machine [w/video]
Mon, 17 Nov 2014If there's one thing you can count on, it's that the renewed rivalry between the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro will never, ever cease. For every version of Ford's pony car, there's an equally potent Chevrolet. And so with the debut of the Camaro Z/28 earlier this year, Ford has responded with a track-focused 'Stang of its own, resurrecting the Shelby GT350 name.
It looks to be a fine piece of work, this Mustang, with power coming from a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 that will produce "more than 500 horsepower" and "above 400" pound-feet of torque. That grunt runs to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission, and a Torsen limited-slip differential keeps everything in line.
But that's hardly the most impressive piece of the GT350 puzzle. Ford has increased the Mustang GT's chassis stiffness for duty here in the Shelby, and the coupe employs MagneRide damping which automatically adjusts based on road conditions and driver inputs. It's a first both for the Blue Oval and for the segment. And speaking of firsts, the GT350 uses a flat-plane crankshaft - something Ford has never included in a production V8 before.
Question of the Day: Most degraded car name?
Fri, May 27 2016When Ford came up with a not-so-sporty version of the Pinto and slapped Mustang badges on it in 1974, that was a low point for the Mustang name. When Chrysler applied the venerable Town & Country name on perfectly functional but unglamorous minivans, it saddened many of us. But perhaps the biggest demotion for a once-proud model came when, in 1988, General Motors imported a misery-enhancing Daewoo from Korea and called it the Pontiac LeMans. The original Pontiac LeMans was a great-looking midsize car with fairly advanced (for the time) suspension design and engine options including potent V8s and a screaming overhead-cam straight-six. The Daewoo-based Pontiac LeMans was a cramped, shoddy hooptie that served only to ruin the LeMans name forever, while stealing sales from the Suzuki-based Chevrolet Sprint. Sure, using the once-respected Monterey name on the Mercurized Ford Freestar was bad, but Mercury didn't have long to live at that point. I say the downward spiral of the LeMans name was the most agonizing in automotive history. What do you think? Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Recharge Wrap-up: Atieva making EV with former Tesla talent, Holland lowers PHEV incentives
Wed, May 13 2015A reduction of tax incentives on company cars in Holland is expected to put the brakes on plug-in hybrid sales. Cars are taxed at an average of 25 percent, with plug-in hybrids taxed at just seven or 14 percent, depending on emissions. Taxes on PHEV company cars will increase to 14 and 21 percent. With company car leases making up a third of vehicle sales in 2014, the uptake on PHEVs "will likely go back to regular volumes," according to Volvo's Christiaan Krouwel. It could be a boon for battery electric cars, as their tax rate will remain at four percent for company cars. Read more at Automotive News Europe. Ford is testing cylinder deactivation in its 1.0-liter EcoBoost engine. On-road prototype testing has shown improvements in fuel economy of as much as six percent. Ford engineers developed a system using a new dual mass flywheel, pendulum absorber, and tuned clutch disc to allow cylinder deactivation under a wider range of speed and engine loads with less NVH. "The highest priority in the development of new combustion engines for automotive applications is the ongoing reduction of fuel consumption," says Ford's Andreas Schamel, presenting Ford's findings to the Vienna Motor Symposium. The Silicon Valley-based startup was founded in 2007 by a former Tesla vice president, and its roster includes 12 other former Tesla employees. Already well funded, Atieva is now looking to fill its ranks with more talent, with 32 engineering positions, two recruiter positions and other job openings posted at its website. As for the EV it is working on, Atieva says it is "redefining what a car can be, by building an iconic new vehicle from the ground up." Read more at Charged EVs. Testing shows that Joule ethanol, made from recycled CO2, meets standards for use in the US and Europe. In partnership with Audi, Joule has been working toward making its recycled CO2 fuels ready for commercialization. "We are pleased to achieve another critical step towards our planned near-term delivery of fuel-grade ethanol from recycled CO2," says Joule President and CEO Serge Tchuruk. "Using waste CO2 as a feedstock, our technology has the two-fold advantage of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and producing cost-competitive, drop-in fuels." Joule will use these test results to get government approval for the use of its ethanol in highway fuel.
