1998 Ford E-350 16' Box Truck Cut through with Large Lift Gate (Liftgate / Tommy Gate)
I bought this truck last year to do local deliveries for my business. It worked great but my business closed so I no longer have use for it. The lift gate is 7' and I believe it is rated for 2000 lbs. We have had 1500 lbs on it with no problem. The e-track was installed by me and it should be secured better. The floor of the box is starting to rot near the front corners (see photos) Hasn't been severe enough for me to repair. The mileage is 122,743 as of this posting but may go up as I use it around town occasionally. I believe the mileage is correct but the place I bought it from in Florida titled the truck as exempt because it was over 99,000 miles. The A/C is cold and tires have plenty of tread left in them. I am a private seller; I don't accept trades or offer financing. Winning bidder shall send $500 deposit via paypal with remainder due at time of pickup in certified funds. Ford tumbles to second worst in Consumer Reports reliability survey, list dominated by Japanese [w/video]
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It's no secret that MyFord Touch has had its share of problems since being introduced, but the most recent reliability survey from Consumer Reports shows just how much this infotainment system has affected Ford. Just two years ago, the automaker was in the top 10 for the institute's reliability rankings, but since then, it has tumbled to the second-lowest rung just above dead-last Jaguar. In addition to MyFord Touch, CR also attributes a handful of new products that have had issues right out of the gate.
Compiled from 1.2 million subscriber surveys, this year's auto reliability survey heavily favors Japanese automakers, with eight of the 10 spots hailing from Japan. Toyota brands grabbed the top three spots (Scion, Toyota and Lexus - in that order) with Mazda, Subaru, Honda and Acura filling the next four spots. The only non-Asian automaker cracking the top 10 was Audi at number eight.
Audi climbed a total of 18 spots from last year, and Cadillac and GMC round out this year's top gainers breaking into the top 15. Helping Cadillac's upward movement, the CTS Coupe was named the most reliable domestic car. Lincoln, Volvo and Chrysler join Ford on this year's biggest loser list.

Thu, 29 May 2014We're pretty sure that any initial concerns Ford had about selling the redesigned Mustang in Europe have been lessened considerably, after the first 500 Euro-spec 2015 Mustangs were been reserved in just 30 seconds. Moreover, 9,300 people attempted to snag one of the coveted orders for the all-new muscle car. Yes, Mustang, you should do quite well across the pond.
The registration event was held during the UEFA (pronounced yu-eh-fa) Champions League Final between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid.
"We knew there was huge excitement building for the new Ford Mustang coming to Europe, but the response during the UCL Final was overwhelming," said Roelant de Waard, VP of marketing, sales and service for Ford's European outfit. "It was a truly special way to kick off the Ford Mustang era in Europe."
