This is a 2006 Ford E350 XLT Van for sale. I have taken lots of pictures included in this ad and can send others if requested. I do this so you can see all the good and bad and there are no surprises. So if interested please keep reading:

The Good

Owned by a smoke free family.
The van runs very strong. Starts every time from first turn of the key.
The van was built on the Ford F350 chassis and is very strong.
The van has never been in an accident.
The van has always had it's fluids done on time.
The van has 4 really good tires.
The van has a good exhaust with no leaks.
The van has 4 wheel disc brakes and the pads were done about 3,000 miles ago.
The van only has 106,000 miles on it. The transmission is great with no known issues.
The van has seating for 12.
All the seats are removable so van could be used as a work truck.
All instruments work as well as the radio.
All lights work outside and inside.
Clear title in hand.
This van is very dependable and looks pretty decent.

The Bad
There are a few small dents as clearly shown in the pictures (no surprises)
I took pictures of the bottoms of each door to show there is small surface rust but no through rust. Al doors and body very solid.
There was a small bubble near the front driver door that has been sanded and painted (as shown in the picture).
The carpet is very stained but can be replaced for a few hundred dollars.
The seats are clean but there are some very small stains as seen in the pictures.
This van needs a front end alignment I do not wish to pay to do.

Outside of that the van has years left on it and could be a great addition to a small church, a small business, or a large family. Then again it's very dependable so really anyone looking for a nice van may be interested. I looked up the "FAIR" blue book value and it say $9,800 for year and miles. I am taking off a bunch for the carpet and dents (and I really would like to sell it) and would like $6,500. Please do not bid if  you are not interested in purchasing this van.  Once you bid you are in a binding contract so please ask as many questions BEFORE you bid.  This van as at my work and available Mon - Fri 8am to 4pm. Thanks and good luck!

Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track

Thu, 29 Aug 2013

The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.

Uber releases fleet of self-driving vehicles to select few in Pittsburgh

Wed, Sep 14 2016

Starting today, a select group of Uber users in Pittsburgh, PA will have the ability to request a self-driving vehicle. If a self-driving vehicle is in the area, Uber will send it, as well as a safety driver, to drive loyal customers to their destination. The announcement to give customers the opportunity to get a ride in one of Uber's self-driving vehicles comes roughly a year and a half after the company set up its Advanced Technologies Center in the city. On Tuesday, the company offered a few members of the press the opportunity to ride in one of the company's self-driving cars. The fleet, despite Uber's collaboration with Volvo, was comprised of 14 Ford Fusions equipped with a host of self-driving technology, reports TechCrunch. Uber is giving away free rides as a way to obtain real-world testing, which is crucial for self-driving technology. Recently, nuTonomoy beat Uber to the punch by launching the world's first autonomous taxis in Singapore. While the choice to release its self-driving cars in Pittsburgh mainly comes down to the fact that its ATC is located there, the city faces four seasons and its difficult streets that are comprised of bridges, railroad lines, and an irregular grid layout will prove to be a challenge for the autonomous cars. Since the self-driving vehicles are still being tested, the cars will come with two full-time Uber employees. One employee will loosely grasp the car's steering wheel, ready to take over if something goes awry, while the other will monitor the computer's software. As TechCrunch points out, Uber's autonomous vehicles drove in a similar manner to a regular driver. It obeyed traffic laws, mimicked a driver by coming to stops gently and at other times abruptly, as well as driving slightly into another lane to dodge a poorly-parked vehicle, reports TechCrunch. There's no word on whether regular Uber customers will get a ride in one of the company's Fusions or one of the Volvo's that its working on. Automakers and companies alike have been in a race to put autonomous vehicles on the road. Tesla recently updated its Autopilot system, Apple laid off dozens of employees to reboot its self-driving car project, and Google is working giving its autonomous vehicle the ability to detect emergency vehicles. While this is a large step for Uber, vehicles with autonomous capabilities still have a long way to go.

Ford announces free brake pad offer if customers stop by dealers

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

These days, when you buy a new car, it's not unreasonable to expect a certain period of free maintenance to come along as well. Sometimes this is through the life of the warranty, in other cases a little less. But Ford Motor Company is going beyond those deals for at least one part of its cars. As of now, if you buy a set of Motorcraft brake pads for a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury model, you get free replacements for as long as you own the vehicle. The offer is good at Ford or Lincoln dealers and Quick Lane Tire & Auto Centers.
"We will replace the pads for as long as you own the vehicle," said Elizabeth Weigandt to Autoblog. She did clarify that the Motorcraft pads are generally for models from the '90s or newer. Also, to take advantage of this program, a person must return to the same dealer each time to get the free parts.
Of course, Ford isn't just handing out brake pads to anyone who walks by; there are certain stipulations. First, the components have to be worn down to less than three millimeters to be eligible, and the buyer still has to pay for the labor to install them. If the model is used as a fleet vehicle for commercial purposes like as a taxi or limousine, this offer also doesn't apply; the same thing for racecars. On the plus side, if you recently bought a set of pads from one of the participating locations, you're still in luck. The deal covers parts purchased as of July 1.
