Dedicated CNG cruiser
Do you hate California freeway traffic? Do you wish you could drive in the carpool lane by yourself? Well, here is your solution. . .drive in the carpool lane SOLO until 2019 with my CNG cruiser. CNG is cheap and clean. Just bought cng this week in Riverside for 1.67 per gallon! Car will save you tons of time, money, and frustration everyday. California vehicle owned and maintained by the city and runs perfect with only 65k original carfax verified miles. Clean title and clean CARFAX with no accidents, etc. Car runs great and is as smooth as new. Tires are good. All power options. Cruise control. A/C blows cold. Safe, comfortable, and reliable transportation. Vehicle is ultra clean reflecting low mileage. Vehicle has 4 tanks total. Car is still in original paint. What you see is what you get, no hidden issues. There are some blemishes in paint / typical peeling in areas which have been touched up, not pretty but functional and keeps body protected. It is hard to find a low mileage, clean, and unmolested Crown Victoria like mine which doesn't have a zillion miles on it used as a taxi, etc. All buyers welcome to come by and take her for a spin. Thanks for viewing my ebay listing. |

Ford ST Octane Academy [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014
The ST school is about more than just handbrake turns, hot laps, and sliding into parking spaces.
I felt like such a rock star. On my second pass around the UrbanCross course (read: fancy autocross) at the Ford ST Octane Academy, I absolutely nailed the exit, sliding the bright-yellow Focus ST sideways into a box the size of a parking space, all four wheels in line.
Ford Mustang hit by Moore' Oklahoma's EF5 tornado lives to do another burnout
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Oklahoma recently saw the destructive power of an EF5 tornado, but in the aftermath of the devastation, we've also been witness to the incredible resilience of the human spirit. Moore, OK resident Jack Haden survived the storm but found that his 2003 Ford Mustang wasn't quite as lucky. As you can see in the image above, the tornado's 200+ mph winds did quite a number on the car, but while most people would have likely called their insurance company and scrapped the car, Haden had other plans.
After finding the car and seeing that its V6 still fired up, Haden spent a couple hours getting the car, um... roadworthy(?)... by removing the doors and front clip, cutting off the roof and putting on some new wheels and tires. He noticed that driving it around brought some comic relief to an area that needed a reason to laugh and smile. Check out the KSBI TV news report video below showing before and after pictures of the tough 'Stang, as well as a video showing the newly lightweight coupe doing a smoky burnout.
Ford Fiesta rally car warms up in Sweden
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Rallycross is seeing a sudden surge in popularity with two series bringing the racing to the US and Europe. The Ford OMSE team is competing in both championships this season, and it saw no reason not to hold practice with a highly modified Fiesta in the snow of Northern Sweden. It brought together Andreas Bakkerud from the European-focused FIA World Rallycross Championship and Patrik Sandell from the North American-focused Global Rallycross series for some training and fun. They certainly appear to be enjoying themselves, too, with some lovely pirouettes in the powder.
If you're unfamiliar with rallycross, the discipline combines the best of rallying and circuit racing. Drivers (with no co-drivers) race rally cars over a circuit that generally mixes dirt and asphalt, and unlike traditional rallying, multiple cars compete side-by-side at once. Even better, it's often a very two-fisted form of motorsports with lots of car-to-car contact. Global Rallycross and World Rallycross will both kick off their seasons in May. With spring on the way, scroll down to watch the Fiesta kick up some of the last snow drifts of the year.
