Here is my 2009 Ford Crown Victoria Police or p71 code for sale.

I have had this car about 2 years and it is in 100% mechanical condition.Drive this home anywhere.

In the last 5000 miles I have installed new goodyear performance tires, larger rear sway bar, battery , front and rear brake pads and rotors, new drive belt and pulleys,k&n air filter, spark plugs, fuel filter, serviced the transmission and rear posi differential and just changed the oil and filter.

It also has a class 2(i think) hitch we just had installed from u-haul. It was used really 1 time for a bike rack.

This car has the optional street appearance package which includes- chrome trim and grill, nicer front seats(drivers side is powered)and am/fm cd player radio.

Only full synthetics have been used while I have owned it. It also has a new pa state inspection and emissions. There are no warning lights of any kind on.

The a/c is freezing, the heat is super hot. This car is has an optional street appearance package which means it has nicer front seats, chrome trim,am/fm/cd player, tilt and cruise control and a power drivers seat with arm rests unlike the regular cop cars with no arm rests or center consoles and very plain hard seats.

I searched for this car over a year until I found this one with low milage and low idling hours.Which means this car was not sitting all day idling catching speeders etc.

The car has about 77k and a little over 700 idling hours.

There are no holes in the roof, trunk or dash. Has a functional spot light. A full size spare and jack are included.

It has a 3.55 rear axle ratio that i had installed and also a plug in computer to fix the speedometer after the gear set was installed,It also has a larger 21mm Mercury marauder rear sway bar(the largest rear oem bar made for this chassis)

I bought this car mainly to drive to the shore with the super large trunk and the appearance it's an undercover police car it's a blast to drive. Everyone and I mean everyone gets out the way on the turnpike etc.

The only reason I am selling this is because we are a 2 driver family with now 5 cars. So this up for sale and so is my 2012 Volvo S60 t-6 r-design as seen in some of the photos-in a different auction. The car is always garaged and never been in the snow.

There are some scratches/minor dents from prior fleet use but the paint still shines very well and there is no rust. It's a very solid car.

Title in hand. Sad to see it go really.

If you have any questions or need other picture or want to come see it let me know!

Thanks

NO I'M NOT SHIPPING IT,BUT I CAN TRY TO HELP ARRANGE IT,I WON'T SELL THIS TO YOUR FRIEND OVER SEAS,NO I DON'T NEED HELP SELLING IT,NO CHECKS OTHER THEN A VERIFIED BANK CHECK OR CASH.

To help answer some questions-

There is a small chip in the windshield on the pass side I had professionally  filled. The front speakers are not hooked up-They were disconnected for police use and i haven't bothered trying to hook them up,but the speakers are in the doors.,the rear speakers work normally. And the rear doors do not open from the inside- i have the rods to hook them up somewhere but again, It never bothered me.The rear windows work from the switches.

I drive this almost every day so the miles will be more than listed.

I had no intentions ever selling the car however after getting the suv and then my grand moms car- I just need some room. And a smaller insurance bill.......

I'll do a mini detail to  it and have a full tank of gas for the next owner and include a genuine Ford oil filter and a case of mobil one oil for the next oil change!!!!!!!!

249 reasons you want to go to Goodwood Revival

Sat, Sep 16 2023

At its most basic, Goodwood Revival is a long weekend worth of car races featuring cars made before 1970. There are lots of those, though, including some pretty great ones all over the world. But nothing is like Goodwood Revival because it's so much more than "just" vintage car racing.  First, you have to look the part. Attendees are strongly encouraged to dress in period clothing from the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, with a strict dress code enforced should you want to enter the paddock. The goal is to create a more authentic atmosphere to match the cars and the meticulously restored and recreated paddocks, grandstands and other facilities of the reborn Goodwood circuit. Now, the dress code was relaxed this year since the Saturday was literally the hottest Sept. 9 on record in that part of England, and the organizers didn't want people dropping dead because they needed to wear an ascot. Some people definitely took the "relaxed" bit too far, but there was still plenty of atmosphere maintained. It really does make a big difference, as those "relaxed" individuals were often akin to seeing a Starbucks cup in a scene from "Game of Thrones."  You can see what I came up with below along with former Autoblog editor Reese Counts and various other Goodwood attendees. Second, there's the parking lot. But I'll let this entire separate post detail that. Third, there's the enormous carnival-like area featuring vintage-looking rides and various boutiques. Both of those are on the outside portion of the track, and honestly, you could easily just spend your entire day in the parking lot and carnival/shopping area without even crossing over into the circuit area. There you'll find more shops, food and drink opportunities, plus obviously, race car paddocks and the track itself.  Fourth, there are airplanes! I heard there are fewer than in the past, but they're there and they're cool. The Goodwood circuit started out life as the perimeter road around the World War II airfield RAF Westhampnett.  Fifth, with all of the above, Goodwood Revival really is fun for the whole family. It isn't just a bunch of old guys sitting around in lawn chairs. There are plenty of women and adorably dressed children, including babies in vintage prams. It's also not an event that's exclusively for the uber rich, even if they are certainly in full force given who has the sort of money needed to go vintage racing.

All 25 James Bond movies ranked only by their cars

Mon, Sep 13 2021

There is no shortage of lists ranking the best James Bond movies. Ditto lists about the best or worst James Bond cars. I know, I've written some of them. As such, why not combine the two ideas into one new list that ranks all 25 official James Bond movies based exclusively on their cars, or more accurately their car content. I would then pull from my 25 years of James Bond nerddom plus the excellent "Bond Cars: The Definitive History" and our interview with long-time Bond special effects supervisor Chris Corbould to provide tidbits and factoids about the cars and their roles in the movies. And yes(!), this list now includes "No Time to Die," which impresses by adding plenty of car content to the series. It's now available on Blu-ray and download. To determine the list, I considered the inherent coolness of the cars as well as their importance to Bond, film and car history. I considered their importance to the story as well as the quality/excitement of the chases and scenes they participated in. Finally, I tried my best to divorce the car content from my opinions about the movies in general. That my personal list of best James movies looks nothing like this shows I was at least partially successful.     25. 'Moonraker' There are virtually no cars in "Moonraker." None. Oh, there's a gondola on wheels that makes a pigeon do a double-take, but that's not the same thing as a car. Neither is a golf cart. Or an ambulance. Or a space shuttle.   24. 'From Russia With Love' The literary James Bond mostly drove an ancient Bentley, and "From Russia with Love" is the only film in which it appears. It stays parked and the coolest thing that happens (by 1962 standards) is 007 answers its car phone. Thereafter, we get some old cars (even by 1962 standards) driving around Istanbul and a yellow truck. So yeah. Classic Bond film, a must-watch, just not for its car content.   23. 'Dr. No' History records that the first "Bond car" is the Sunbeam Alpine in "Dr. No." The car itself was literally borrowed from a Miss Jennifer Jackson of 53 Lady Musgrave Road in Jamaica for 10 pounds per day for two days during filming. Also, the stunt where it drove under an excavator blocking the road was entirely conceived because the filmmakers showed up to the road they intended to film on and discovered an excavator blocking the thing. Sadly, those are really the only two things interesting about the Alpine, which is a pretty small and dainty thing by Bond car standards.

Consumer Reports no longer recommends Honda Civic

Mon, Oct 24 2016

Consumer Reports annual Car Reliability Survey is out, and yes, there are some big surprises. First and foremost? The venerable publication no longer recommends the Honda Civic. In fact, aside from the walking-dead CR-Z and limited-release Clarity fuel-cell car, the Civic is the only Honda to miss out on CR's prestigious nod. At the opposite end there's a surprise as well – Toyota and Lexus remain the most reliable brands on the market, but Buick cracked the top three. That's up from seventh last year, and the first time for an American brand to stand on the Consumer Reports podium. Mazda's entire lineup earned Recommended checks as well. Consumer Reports dinged the Civic for its "infuriating" touch-screen radio, lack of driver lumbar adjustability, the limited selection of cars on dealer lots fitted with Honda's popular Sensing system, and the company's decision to offer LaneWatch instead of a full-tilt blind-spot monitoring system. Its score? A lowly 58. The Civic isn't the only surprise drop from CR's Recommended ranks. The Audi A3, Ford F-150, Subaru WRX/STI, and Volkswagen Jetta, GTI, and Passat all lost the Consumer Reports' checkmark. On the flipside, a number of popular vehicles graduated to the Recommended ranks, including the BMW X5, Chevrolet Camaro, Corvette, and Cruze, Hyundai Santa Fe, Porsche Macan, and Tesla Model S. Perhaps the biggest surprise is the hilariously recall-prone Ford Escape getting a Recommended check – considering the popularity of Ford's small crossover, this is likely a coup for the brand, as it puts the Escape on a level playing field with the Recommended Toyota RAV4, Honda CR-V, and Nissan Rogue. While Ford is probably happy to see CR promote the Escape, the list wasn't as kind for every brand. For example, of the entire Fiat Chrysler Automobiles catalog, the ancient Chrysler 300 was the only car to score a check – there wasn't a single Dodge, Fiat, Jeep, Maserati, or Ram on the list. That hurts. FCA isn't alone at the low end, either. GMC, Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, and Mitsubishi don't have a vehicle on CR's list between them, while brands like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, Nissan, Lincoln, Infiniti, and Cadillac only have a few models each. You can check out Consumer Reports entire reliability roundup, even without a subscription, here.
