One owner vehicle history report. We have the vehicle history report on file and will forward it to you upon request. This vehicle was owned and operated by the department of Homeland Security here in El Paso, Texas. It has spent it's life in the sunny southwest. It has never been driven on salted roads. NO RUST. The mileage reads 16771. The title will reflect those miles but it will be marked as TMU or true miles unknown. I bought this car at a government auction and the batteries were dead at the time of the sale. The auction couldn't get a mileage reading. When we put a fresh battery in the car the odometer showed 16000 miles and 98 engine idle hours. The interior is black cloth with a black vinyl rear seat. The floor is black vinyl. The interior is in excellent shape. The power windows, power locks, power driver seat, cruise control, tilt wheel, power lumbar support,CD stereo, traction control, rear window defroster, power side view mirrors and power trunk release all work as they should. This car has the limited slip rear differential. The 4.6 litre 250 horsepower police interceptor motor has awesome power and starts and runs great. The transmission shifts crisp and smooth. The brakes have been inspected and are in good shape. The suspension is good and the car handles very well. Full size spare and jack kit. The tires are in decent shape. The body in is good shape with only minor nicks and scratches. We had this car inspected for structual damage and found none. This P71 was involved in a fender bender late in 2009. It was driven to the storage facility at La Tuna and has basically been parked there ever since. That's why the miles are so low. Lego provides one of the cheapest ways to own a Bugatti Chiron
Tue, Jan 3 2017Just over a month ago, we got a look at one of the latest Lego Speed Champions sets when Ford revealed the GT and GT40 kit. Now we get to see the rest of the lineup, and it's chock full of F1 and supercar goodness. The official Lego images show that the Bugatti Chiron, Mercedes-AMG GT3, Ferrari FXX K, and F1 cars from Ferrari and Mercedes all made the cut. Each set gets some unique features and most include interchangeable wheel covers. The Chiron comes with some tiny cones suitable for desk slaloms and the Mercedes-AMG GT3 gets an alternate nose. The FXX K comes has the most impressive selection of accessories, though, as it includes a dyno and engine run stand. The F1 sets are divided similarly, but with Mercedes getting more extras. The Brick Fan also reports that the Mercedes kit may be exclusive to select stores. The Ferrari kit only comes with a starting light, but the Mercedes set includes a garage, starting lights, and winner's circle. It'll be up to you whether you put Hamilton or Rosberg in that winner's circle. According to The Brick Fan, these kits are set for release in winter 2017. Since the Ford GT set has a release of March 1, we expect the rest will hit stores in the next couple of months. They're sure to be great additions to anyone's existing Lego garage. Ford forced to recall Escape over fire risk yet again
Tue, 26 Nov 2013Recalls happen. Automakers hope they won't, but they do. And that's alright, for the most part, because cars are designed (and to a large degree still made) by humans, and humans make mistakes. So we forgive them, as long as the problem is resolved. Only in the case of the Ford Escape, the problem seems to keep coming back.
That's why Ford is calling in the Escape yet again due to fire concerns. The issue revolves around problematic fuel lines in 9,469 units manufactured between October 5, 2011, and July 11, 2012, all of which use the 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine.
As you yourself may recall, the Escape was subject to a string of recalls last year that resulted in a $17 million fine. One of them was over this very same issue, which Ford apparently didn't rectify the first time around. Let's hope this time is the last time.
Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time
Wed, 26 Jun 2013Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
