2006 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor which is absolutely in great condition .
I recently purchased 4 New Goodyear Police Eagle Tires. I Had them aligned & balanced. Vehicle has 5% Limo Tint. The spotlight is in working condition. It has a Whelen Amber LED Traffic Advisor light bar on the back window. One of the LEDS on the light bar isn't working (as you can see in the picture), Im not sure if its blown out or if I don't have it programmed to work on the whelen control box. The Antennas On the trunk Lid are Magnets that are covering the areas where the vehicle originally had antennas. There are not holes but you can see where the antennas use to be. The Strobe Light on the front windshield is NOT included. Damages: There is a open area on the ceiling inside of the car, I think it was where there was a dome light( See pictures)...Dent on the trunklid , Trunklid does have some discoloration, Scratches on rear bumber & areas on the rear & front bumper that look like the paint make me cracking. (Nothing Serious, I was going to get the Front,Rear bumper & Trunk lid painted but just never got to it since I rarely drive the car. ) This vehicle was well maintained. It comes with a 4.6L 8 Cyl. Motor, Automatic Transmission, 4-Doors, Front Cloth Seats, Rear Leather Seat, Ice Cold Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Power Windows, Power Doors, Power Mirrors, Power Trunk, Power Steering, Driver & Passenger Safety Air Bags/ This vehicle was Florida driven it has only 130,700 highway miles. The miles will vary because I am still driving the car. A Week after I purchased the car, The check engine light turned on , I was told I could go to pep boys and they'd clear it for free. I just never did since I never had time & the car drove fine with no signs of any problems. I have not had any mechanical issues with it either. I have gotten the oil changed at the Ford Dealership & Jiffy Lube. I am in no rush to sale the car, The only reason I am selling it is to get a bmw 3 series. The car gets a lot of attention on the road because it looks like a unmarked vehicle. |

MotorWeek relives '80s coupes with Dodge Daytona, Ford Escort EXP
Thu, Aug 6 2015Get ready for a wave of nostalgia and the rapid realization of the huge progress in performance cars over the last 30 years. For its latest Retro Review, MotorWeek takes a look back at two, front-wheel drive coupes from the '80s that seem to have entirely vanished from the roads today. Both the 1986 Dodge Daytona CS and the 1986.5 Ford Escort EXP were considered affordable, sporty options in their day, but the passage of time hasn't been kind to either of their specs. The Daytona certainly looks the part of a performance machine with a body that's reminiscent of other '80s coupes, like the third-gen Chevrolet Camaro. However with 146 horsepower and 170 pound-feet of torque from a 2.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder, acceleration wasn't exactly a strong suit. MotorWeek complained about copious torque steer, as well. The optional CS suspension upgrade package on this Daytona was apparently a nod to Carroll Shelby who was working with Dodge at the time. If anything, the Escort EXP withstands the test of time even worse. As a two-seat coupe, you might have expected Ford's engineers to really turn up the performance to fit the sporty image that the exterior conveyed. That didn't really happen, and depending on which model buyers ordered, they got either 86 horsepower with a 1.9-liter engine or the "high-output" version of that mill with 108 hp.
You can now order Domino's pizza from your Sync-equipped Ford
Tue, 07 Jan 2014
The news keeps pouring in from the Consumer Electronics Show now underway in Las Vegas, and the latest comes from Ford which has announced two new apps for its Sync AppLink system.
First up is a cooperative app launched by Ford together with Domino's Pizza that lets drivers of the former order pizza from the latter right from their car. The service allows those with Ford Sync AppLink in their car or truck and are registered with a Domino's Pizza Profile to place an order for their favorite pie using Dearborn's voice-recognition software for either pickup or delivery. Save your information in your Pizza Profile and it'll be sent to your house without even the push of a button, which strikes us as awesome a use of technology as we've ever seen.
2014 Ford Fiesta ST
Tue, 15 Oct 2013I'm not overly inclined to professional jealousy, as a rule. Sure, I go a bit green around the eyes when Ramsey draws the 911 GT3 trip to Weissach, Harley is tapped-in to drive a completely stunning Porsche 911 by Singer, or, you know, Drew Phillips gets to shoot a Lamborghini Veneno in the middle of a desert like some sort of sheik. I hate you guys...
Honestly though, one of the new car events that dug me the most, was when our Steven J. Ewing got to fling the Ford Fiesta ST around some hot corner of Europe. What goes around comes around, I suppose, as Mr. Ewing himself espoused an envious nature of the Focus ST trip that came before.
The good news in all this covetous intra-office behavior? All the cars mentioned, and specifically the Fiesta ST, are just wonderful to drive. I can say that with more confidence than ever now, having joined Ford for a good bit of Fiesta-flinging myself. In my case, the locale was slightly more pedestrian (Michigan not Portugal), and the car in question was the five-door version of the Fiesta ST that we get here in The States, as opposed to the three-door number they get across the pond.
