You are bidding on a beautiful Colorado driven Ford Bronco.  This has only been registered is Montrose Colorado, there is no rust in Southwestern Colorado.  This has had so much done to it over the past 3000 miles.  To include new Luke clutch, new Gabriel front shocks, new Gabriel rear shocks with coil overs, new plugs, new fuel pump, new pressurized power steering hose, new valve cover gasket, new Kenwood CD/AM/FM stereo with front speakers, new pvc valve, new front rotors, new front breaks, custom made rear bumper, upper radiator hose, coolant flush, current oil change, plugs, and more that I cant think of.  BFG All Terrain 30x9.5 are in great condition.

As with all 30+ year old vehicles it has some rock chips and dings but they are at a minimum. The rear window up down switch went out but works great with the key, I put a suction cup mount for my phone on the dash it made a wavy delamination (not bad), there is a small crease in the hood that most people would never see, when its cold it take a few miles for it to like 3rd gear (not a real problem, prior owner didn't' do the clutch slight damage to syncro but with the 6cyl not a issue just a nuisance at 0 degrees), none pressure power steering hose leeks slight, there is always a new gasket that needs to be replaced LOL, the pic of the small tear on the passengers seat was the drivers I reversed them so it would not get worst I have been told its still small enough it would be a easy fix.  I am not running this truck down it's wonderful, I am very very detail oriented. Fly in drive home......

Please feel free to ask questions prior to bidding.

This is a NO REASERVE AUCTION some one is going to get a dream.

Feel free to look at or have someone local look at it.  I would recommend Craig Ross of Rock Works, he's a champion rock crawler.

There is NO WARINTY EXPRESSED ON THIS GREAT TRUCK.

$500.00 paypal deposit required in 24 hours.  The remaining in a additional 72 hours.

The fascinating forgotten civil defense history of Mister Softee trucks

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

Hemmings came across an interesting article from the Throwin' Wrenches blog about the intersection of ice cream, cars and civic duty in America's late 1950s. In particular, it focuses on the Mister Softee trucks, which criss-crossed neighborhoods of the eastern US serving ice cream. Looking past the ultra-durable vehicles used - heavy-duty Ford-based chassis, for what it's worth - the article delves into some deeper national-security territory.
See, Mister Softee truck owners were voluntary members of the Civil Defense, thanks to all the useful stuff (potable water, generators, freezers and fridges) that the machines carried with them for serving ice cream. Click over to Throwin' Wrenches for the full run down of how Mister Softee would have stepped in to help fight if the Cold War ever turned a little hotter.

Ford set to target pre-school market with next F-150 variant

Tue, Jun 17 2014

How do you build a strong group of loyalists from the next generation of American drivers? You start em' young. Ford has taken that lesson to heart, as we can see in the first batch of images of the company's new entry to the pre-school market, the Power Wheels F-150. This particular example was caught returning from testing around Ford's base of operations in Dearborn, MI – covered in tiny little bits of camouflage, too. Now, this could very well end up being a collaboration between Power Wheels and Ford. Then again, it could just be some bored engineers that decided to troll the local congregation of spy photographers, who earlier today captured images of the next Focus RS and SVT Mustang. Whatever it is, it's pretty darn cool. Take a look up top for images of the new Power Wheels F-150.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
