1996 Ford Bronco 5.8l 4x4 Florida Vehicle Great Shape on 2040-cars
Winter Garden, Florida, United States
Condition:
Bronco looks and runs great. From the original blue and white paint to the rust free frame and undercarriage, and the push button four wheel drive, you will be pleased with this truck. Everything works on this vehicle, power windows and locks are fully functional, even the back window up/down switch operates. Recently new A/C pump, provides cold A/C, and the heater blows hot. The original paint is in great overall shape, however it does show some wear on the front of the hood, and the roof, and the aftermarket sun visor is loosing it's clear coat. The ONLY rust is in the inevitable place on the interior of the lower tailgate seam. It is starting on one side, and there are a few spots starting to come through on the exterior of the lower tailgate (see photos). You can see the the rain gutters on the roof are in great shape as well. The body is wreck and dent free, what you see is what you get. The body or suspension has never been lifted, nor cut, to accommodate larger tire and wheel combinations. The cap has never been removed, and is all original, including the white paint. All of the chrome, including the bumpers are in great shape, only a few wear spots on the body side molding plastic chrome trim. Engine and transmission are running great. Starts cleanly even after sitting for a few weeks and the transmission shifts smooth, up and down. There is a slight engine oil drip, I think it is from the rear seal, but I can't say for sure. I know it isn't from the valve covers, as they are clean. Drip isn't significant, as I never have to add oil between changes. Interior is smoke-free, clean and tear free, even the original floor mats are in great shape. The aftermarket CD radio works fine, however skips occasionally, probably due for a change, it's been 15 years after all. Optional Features: The wheels are aftermarket standard size 15" aluminum, and tires are 32X11.50. After market CD radio. History: I purchased this vehicle in 1997 in Pittsburgh, from a dealer that had just taken it in on trade for an Explorer. Apparently the vehicle was too big for the female driver. I believe there was about 9,000 miles on it when I bought it, and it came with the bleach marks in the rear carpet. I suspect a grocery store accident... The Bronco lived in between Orlando, Florida and Pennsylvania until 1999, when I moved to Orlando. In 2004, the trucked moved with me to Atlanta, and back to Orlando in 2009. It was my daily driver until 2011, and is now driven occasionally, and currently stored in an indoor storage space. Shipping and Payment: Not being an ebay veteran, I prefer a cash transaction, however, a Paypal deposit can be arranged. A $1,000 deposit will be required within 48 hours of sale closing, and a full and final balance payment must be made within 10 days of sale closing. Failure of full and final payment being made within 10 days of sale closing will result in lose of all deposit money and right to vehicle. Once all funds clear, title and vehicle will be released to buyer or buyers agent. Happy to discuss specifics options further. Bronco also being advertised locally. |

Ford gives S-Max the Vignale treatment in Milan
Wed, 09 Apr 2014Ford has a bit of a history in reviving the names of old coachbuilders it has long since gobbled up and using them to distinguish its top-of-the-line models in Europe. That's what it did for years with Ghia, and after having replaced it several years ago with the Titanium trim level, now it's doing it again with Vignale.
At the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, Ford revealed the Mondeo Vignale concept in both sedan and wagon body-styles, which are set to reach production next year. But before they do, the Blue Oval automaker is at it again, applying similar upgrades to the S-Max minivan and unveiling it in concept form in Milan this week.
Setting the Vignale concept apart from any other S-Max is its Milano Grigio rose-hued silver pearlescent paint, 21-inch alloys, chrome trim and hexagonal-pattern grille. Inside it's all ultra-soft quilted leather and aluminum trim, with tablet docking stations in the back and thinner, more flexible seats than the existing production version.
Ford nets $5.7B in 2012, $1.6B in fourth quarter
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Ford brought in $5.7 billion in net income during 2012, which is around $307 million less than one year prior. Even so, the automaker closed out 2012 with the highest pre-tax profit for a single quarter in nearly 10 years, earning $1.7 billion in the fourth quarter thanks largely to a higher-than-average truck mix in the US. That's a jump of $577 million over 2011. Likewise, that translated into fourth quarter income of $1.6 billion. All told, Ford set a full-year pre-tax profit record in 2012. But that doesn't necessarily mean everything is rosy in the land of the Blue Oval.
Like every other manufacturer, 2012 saw Ford get hammered in the European Union, where a deep economic recession continues to drive down consumer confidence. The automaker lost more than $700 million in Europe, and saw full revenue of $26.6 billion in 2012. That's a decline of $7.2 billion compared to last yea. Ford says the market for new vehicles in Europe has contracted to 13.5 million units, the lowest number in 17 years. You can read the full press release below for more information.
Mysterious small Ford spied in Germany
Sat, 29 Jun 2013Our spy photographers have just popped off a few shots of something curious. This little runabout was spotted in Germany out testing with a current-generation Ford Fiesta. We're fairly confident the machine is a Ford, but exactly which Ford model is up for debate. The hatchback could be the next-generation Ka, but we've also heard that the Blue Oval supermini might not get a replacement. Our shooter says the five-door is a bit smaller than the current Fiesta, though there is a chance that this rig is just an engineering mule for drivetrain development. Then again, it could be a model built specifically for the South African market or China, or not a Ford at all.
Whatever it is and wherever it's headed, you can check out in the gallery for a closer look before heading into Comments to weigh in with your best guess.
