Here it is! This is the one you've been looking for. It's the Full Size Black Ford Bronco XLT Sport with gray leather seats. This one has a strong Drive Train with it's Rebuilt 5.8L V8 Engine about 10K miles ago. The Heavy Duty 4 Speed OD Transmission with Factory Oil Cooler shifts smooth and it's ready to travel where ever you want to go. It's in need of bodywork and new paint but I also like the rugged look with the dings and dents it's earned over the years exploring the off road trails. I had the front bucket seats recovered in leather with suede center inserts and they look Amazing. The rear factory leather wrapped bench seat is also in great shape so the Interior all matches and looks impressive. It's the XLT Sport Model so even with the rough exterior condition it still offers lots of creature comforts on the inside.     Options are: Power Windows (Including Rear Window), Power Door Locks, Tilt Steering Wheel, Power Steering, Cruise Control, AM/FM stereo with CD Player, Cold AC, Remote Keyless Door Entry, CB Radio with Outside Long Range Antenna and PA Loud Speaker. It has a removable hard top but I don't think it's ever came off.

It has all 5 matching Factory Polished Alloy wheels with BF Goodrich AT tires (Spare is Brand New) the other 4 need to be replaced soon. It's got a 2" Skyjacker leveling lift kit with Rancho Shocks all around. I've also installed 4:11 gears in both diffs and changed the front hubs to WARN manual locking ones. The 4WD System works like it should and has the Automatic Locking Transfer Case (Push Button on Dash). Also installed a new fuel pump, water pump, steering gear box and all new suspension bushings at the time of the lift kit ( 3 years ago). In the rear suspension I've installed a Heavy Duty Air Bag System to help level the load when towing. I have a few vehicles but this is the one I drive the most. It's taken me on all my long road trips. ( All the way to Sarasota Florida, Daytona FL, Jacksonville FL, Tampa FL, Atlanta GA, Robbinsville NC,  Many times to Phoenix AZ, San Diego CA, San Francisco CA, Huston TX San Antonio TX, El Paso TX, , Las Vegas NV, Reno NV, Boulder CO, Zion UT, Palm Springs CA and all over the CA Coast &  Los Angeles and Orange County area of So Cal. It's a super reliable truck. I will jump in this truck and drive it anywhere as I know it will get me there.

Things that need attention: Tires will need to be replaced as they have about 40K miles on them. I was going to replace with new BF's but not sure if the new buyer wants to go bigger so I'll just leave them as they still have a few thousand miles to go. Heater Core was bypassed due to small hole and will need to be replaced. Most recent trip was to Reno NV and I was driving at night in 29 degree weather doing 80mph and it got really cold inside the cab. Had to buy an electric blanket at a truck stop for the ol' lady. There's a dash pad that has some cracks in it. I've got a god used replacement part that I will include with the sale. As I mentioned from the beginning, This Bronco could really benefit from a good back to an original all black paint job.

Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft

Tue, 07 Jan 2014

In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.

Ford settles class action suit over defective Navistar diesel engines

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

The 2003 Ford F-Series Super Duty (shown above) introduced the 6.0-liter Power Stroke diesel supplied by Navistar, and while that is an engine Ford would love to forget, it's now one step closer to putting that particular problem behind it. Automotive News is reporting that Ford has settled a class-action lawsuit brought on by problems with this engine that started right out of the gate and ultimately broke up the 30-year relationship between Ford and Navistar.
Owners and lessees of 2003-2007 Super Duty trucks and E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0-liter Power Stroke are eligible for deductible reimbursements of between $50 and $200 from the original five-year/100,000-mile engine warranty, while Ford is paying out as much as $825 for out-of-warranty engine repairs. These repairs may include the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) cooler, EGR valve, oil cooler, fuel injectors and turbocharger, but are only covered if the components failed before six years or 135,000 miles.
In total, Ford has agreed to pay about 50 percent of the value of the repairs and deductibles paid by its customers who submit a claim before the end of this year, and $150,000 is going to the 16 named plaintiffs in the case; Navistar was not included in the lawsuit.

8 cars we're most looking forward to driving in 2015

Mon, Jan 5 2015

Now that 2014 is officially in the books, it's time to look ahead. And following our list of the cars we liked best last year, we're now setting our sights at the hot new metal that's coming our way in 2015. Some of these, we've already seen. And some are still set to debut during the 2015 auto show season. But these are the machines that keep us going – the things on the horizon that we're particularly stoked to drive, and drive hard. Jeep Renegade Not the Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Not the Ford Mustang GT350. Not the new John Cooper Works Mini. Nope, I'm looking forward to the adorable, trail-rated Jeep Renegade. And that's because I really, really, really like our long-term Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk. I do not, however, care too much for the Cherokee's looks, and I really don't like its $38,059 price tag. The Renegade Trailhawk, meanwhile, promises much of the same rough-and-tumble character as its big brother, but at what we expect will be a more reasonable price (I'm personally wagering on the baby Jeep's off-road model starting at no more than $23,000). With a 2.4-liter four-cylinder and a nine-speed automatic, it should also be a bit easier to fill than the V6-powered Cherokee. Also, I can't help but love the way the Renegade looks. It's like someone took a Wrangler, squished it by 50 percent and then handed it off to George Clinton for a healthy dose of funk. The interior, with its bright, expressive trims and color schemes should also be a really nice place to spend some time. I'll be attending the Renegade's launch later this month, so I'll have a much shorter wait than my colleagues. Here's hoping the baby Jeep lives up to my expectations. – Brandon Turkus Associate Editor Mazda MX-5 Miata Here's an uncomfortable truth: I'd rather spend a day driving a properly sorted Mazda MX-5 Miata of any generation on a winding road than I would nearly any other vehicle, regardless of power, price or prestige. It's not just that I prize top-down driving and enjoy the Miata's small size because it gives me more road to play with. I just find there's more motoring joy to be had with high-fidelity handling and an uncorrupted car-to-driver communication loop than I do with face-distorting power or grip – let alone valet-stand gravitas. But perhaps most of all, I love Miatas because they can deliver that level of feedback and driver reward at modest speeds that won't put the locals on edge or endanger lives – you can use more of the car more of the time.
