You are bidding on a very nice, one owner 1992 Ford Bronco in stock condition, two door Sport Utility with the XLT trim package that I am selling for my mother. It has about 60,050 original miles on it. It has the 5.8L V-8 gas engine with a 4-speed automatic transmission that runs very nice. It has a 2-speed transfer case with the 4WD, auto locking front hubs. 3.55 Ratio rear axle and a towing package. It has 31-10.5-15 Sport King all-terrain radials on it that were installed on it in 1999, with at least 50% or more tread left. 32 gallon fuel tank. It has air conditioning and cruise control. Power steering, brakes, mirrors, rear window, door locks and side windows. All power options work. The exterior color is a Bright Regatta Blue Metallic with the Crystal Blue Leather interior. There are no leaks underneath it. It has some minor rusting spots under it, but is mostly rust free and clean. It also has a Kenwood AM/FM casette player in the dash, a dash cover and Black rubber floor mats. It has a step on the drivers side that has the paint peeling off, but works great and is solid. I have a stack of maintenance records of oil and filter changes from 2007 on. The drivers side window motor failed and was replaced in 2004. The passenger side power lock switch failed and was replaced in 2006. The paint on top of the hood near the vents was peeling away and cracking, but was repaired in 2007. Other small repairs to the paint were fixed at the same time. New windshield in 2010. My mother was always kept up on the maintenance, but the records were lost in one of four different moves in Colorado. I have the original window stickers and a Bronco sales brochure from 1992. I have a Carfax report run on 7/16/13 on it, but I couldn't fit it in the pictures, as I ran out of pictures. I can e-mail a copy upon request. It was purchased brand new on 3/27/1993 from a Ford dealer in Southern California by my mother. She moved to Colorado a few months later that same year, and it has been in Colorado ever since. It has spent most of its time in a garage! My mother would wax and detail it once a year, with regular washes. The interior is in very nice condition, the carpet is very clean. The upholstery is in excellent condition. No cracks in the dash. The leather seats are in very good condition, with some standard wear of 20 years. The front seats were covered by a cover, until I took the photos. No pet smells. My mother was a smoker, but she never smoked inside of it. There is no smoke smell to me, however, someone with a sensitive nose may be able to detect a very, very slight odor do to transfer from her clothing and such? I have tried to describe the vehicle to the best of my and my mothers knowledge of it, feel free to ask questions. I am sure I have forgotten something? I will answer them the best that I can. This is the nicest 21 year old Bronco I have ever seen, and I am not just saying that because it is my mothers! The Bronco is being sold AS IS with NO WARRANTY. I will need a $500 deposit through Paypal within 2 days of auction end. I will accept a cashiers check or cash in person for the remaining balance within 7 days of auction end. The buyer is responsible for setting up the shipping, and shipping the vehicle if necessary. Truck must be paid in full before it can be shipped. I will work with your shipper. Thanks for checking out my auction!

2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty Power Stroke
Tue, 29 Jul 2014What weighs 30,000 pounds? Big Ben's Westminster bell. A navy ship anchor. Or as we found out during our first drive program for the 2015 Ford F-Series Super Duty, seven pallets of cinder blocks loaded onto a dual-axle gooseneck trailer. The test was part of a raft of towing demonstrations that showcased the new Super Duty's impressive tug capacity, which maxes out at 32,100 pounds. That's 1,200 more than its nearest rival, the Ram 3500, when equipped with its upgraded 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel V8. Such is the heavy-duty pickup truck business, a diesel-fueled game of one-upmanship with only three players: Ford, Chevrolet/GMC and Ram. And in this game, the one with the most torque wins.
Until 2014, Ford was the one to beat, with its 6.7-liter Power Stroke diesel bringing 400 hp and a massive 800 lb-ft of torque to the table. Then last year, Ram did exactly that, serving Ford with a beefed-up Cummins turbodiesel inline-six in its freshened Ram Heavy Duty truck line with 385 hp and 850 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to tow up to 30,000 pounds. But Ford claims it had designed its engine to be relatively easy to upgrade when the time called for it, so for 2015, Ford bolted a larger turbo to the Power Stroke, bringing output to an insane 440 hp and 860 lb-ft of twist, all without reducing fuel efficiency. Maximum tow capacity rises from 24,700 lbs to an incredible 31,200 lbs for the F-450 dually.
As for GM's HDs? They lag behind the lot with their 6.6-liter Duramax V-8, producing 397 hp and 765 lb-ft of torque. Yeah, you know things are serious when the trucks with 765 lb-ft are the knock-kneed wimps of the lot.
Ford recalls over 500,000 trucks and SUVs, including Explorer, F-150, and Lincoln Aviator
Fri, Aug 30 2019For the second time in a month, Ford is recalling the brand-new 2020 Explorer and 2020 Lincoln Aviator for minor safety issues. This recall, which also affects certain 2018-2020 Ford F-150s, 2019-2020 Ford F-Series Super Duty trucks, 2018-2019 Ford Explorers, and 2019-2020 Ford Expeditions, pertains to potentially faulty seat-back reclining mechanisms. In total, the recall touches 550,186 vehicles. A mechanical part meant for relaxation and comfort has the Ford Motor Company stressin'. Ford says potentially affected vehicles might be missing the "third pawl required for seat-back strength" in the reclining mechanisms on certain seats. Because of this, the seats might not properly keep a person in place during the event of a crash or otherwise. In the F-150s, F-Series Super Duty trucks, 2018-2019 Explorers, and Expeditions, the recall affects vehicles with manual driver and/or front passenger seat-back recliners. On the 2020 Explorers and Lincoln Aviators, rear outboard seats with manual recliners are of concern. Of the more than 550,000 vehicles, 483,325 vehicles are in the United States, 58,712 are in Canada and 8,149 are in Mexico. Thus far, Ford is not aware of any injuries from the issues. Ford says it expects most vehicles will not need repair, but dealers will inspect the seat structures out of precaution. If fault is found, dealers will replace the seat structure altogether. For this recall, Ford's reference number is 19C07. Contact your dealer for more information. Featured Gallery 2020 Ford Explorer View 47 Photos Recalls Ford Lincoln Truck SUV
Woman trades 1914 Model T in for 2013 Corvette
Wed, 17 Apr 2013We're sure that dealers must see all sorts of interesting trade ins, but this one may take the cake. Red River Chevrolet in Bossier City, Louisiana, recently had a customer come in with an odd request. Tina Boyter wanted to trade in three vehicles on a brand-new 2013 Chevy Corvette. Among the hardware was 1980 Corvette, a 1978 Cadillac Eldorado and a 1914 Ford Model T. While the '80 Corvette had been her personal car for years, the '78 Eldorado had belonged to Boyter's mother before she traded up to a Lincoln. The big Caddy had just 10,290 miles on the clock when it was traded in.
And the Model T? Boyter says the car was built as a racer by Ford, and that it had been a show winner for years when it belonged to her father. But, after spending the last 16 years in a museum with its fluids drained, Boyter decided it was time to shed some of the past. She walked into the dealer, laid eyes on a white 2LT Corvette with a red interior and offered to trade all three of the vehicles in on the sports car.
Why not wait for the C7? "I fell in love with that one when I walked in the door," She said. We can't fault her there.
