This is a really well taken care of Ford Bronco. Up until 4 months ago it was my daily driver. The only thing that affected my day to day driving is that the needle doesn't move when you shift the gears in the display window. I have a replacement dash-gauge set which I will include I just haven't changed it out yet. Does not affect function of driving. I have added lots of upgrades to this truck as I have progressed. Just some of these include. 4" Pro Comp suspension lift, 15" Dick Cepek DC2 wheels, 15x32 BFGoodrich All Terrain KO tires, all new power steering system, breaking system from the pedal to wheels,new Alternator,new Battery and wires, starter,K&N pro air intake system, Boss intake control system for power and fuel consumption control,Flowmaster cat back dual exhaust, and many others. Not even to mention the kenwood deck with all speakers replaced and a Rockford Fotsgate Amp with a 12" Punch Sub Woofer. Sounds great when you get it all tuned up to your preferences. I also have JBA shorty headers that never were installed that will come with the truck.The only thing I can think of that gives me problems is that the after market alarm system pulls on the battery more than it should so if you leave parked for a longer than normal period you should use the quick disconnect on the battery terminal I put on.AC Works just needs a recharge! Ford open to diesel, hybrid or electric Mustang? [w/poll]
Sun, 08 Dec 2013The Ford Mustang may not be the first vehicle that comes to mind when you think of environmentally-friendly forms of transportation. The arrival of the turbocharged four-cylinder engine in the new Mustang could do a lot to combat that perception, but the EcoBoost engine may just be the tip of the iceberg in that regard.
Speaking with Ford powertrain boss Bob Fascetti at the reveal of the new Mustang in Australia, GoAuto reports that the Blue Oval automaker is considering offering its latest pony car with a diesel, hybrid or even electric powertrain in the future.
"We're not looking at diesel at the moment, but given where we need to go with fuel consumption we are looking at all our options," said Fascetti. Other options could include a nine- or ten-speed automatic transmission to replace the current six-speed unit in order to help improve fuel economy and emissions for the Mustang, although figures for the current lineup have yet to be revealed.
