1990 Ford Bronco XLT Full Size.  This is the XLT package so it comes with all the power options.  This is a Bronco that has been extremely well cared for.

This is an extremely clean and COMPLETLY rust free Bronco.  No problems, runs like new!  Owned most of its life by an elder man. All original never been trashed.

Runs Perfect- 5.8 Windsor 351 V8 motor, has only 146K miles runs perfect.  An old man owned this Bronco and towed it behind his RV, so most of the miles the Bronco have been being towed behind a camper.    The condition of this Bronco shows that, the interior is PERFECT no rips or tears.  The interior looks brand new and the motor runs great.  Has a brown interior, the middle consule has a USB charging station.

The body on this bronco is very good, no dings or dents.  This bronco has never been in an accident or been hit.  The only blemish on the vehicle is the paint on the passenger side fender(shown in pics).  That is the only thing bad about the whole truck.  There is not a speck of rust on the whole vehicle. Also it ha a removeable top and it has never been off so it doesnt leak at all.

Like i said the truck runs perfect.  Transmission shifts great and the motor is very strong.  Has custom dual exhaust, not to loud but definately has a nice tone.  4x4 works great too, never been used for 4 wheeling though.  Has 15in aluminum rims, with 31in Michelin tires.  Tires are about 1/2 way worn.  Has a full size spare which has never been used.  Truck also has a tow package with a 2" reciever.

The interior on this bronco is perfect.  The 2 front seats have covers on them to protect the the cloth covers that look brand new.  Everything on this bronco works, A/C, Heat, power windows, power locks, cruise control,  radio, all cargo lights.  The carpet looks new as well as all the seats.  The only thing that could be fixed on the interior is the healiner is sagging slightly, (shown in pics)

Work that has been recently done to this Bronco is:  new trans cooler and heavy duty aluminum radiator, front brakes, battery, starter and alternator.   Truck just passed CA emissions test, the mechanic said it passed cleaner than most new cars!

This has got to be one of the cleanest and most well cared for Broncos around.  Must sell due to family medical issues.

Any questions feel free to call me (510) 512 5679.   I have this listed locally so i reserve the right to end this auction at any time, unless the reserve has been met.

Ford to hack $4k off price of Focus EV amid slow sales

Wed, 10 Jul 2013

Between slow sales and a hefty price drop for its nearest rival, the Ford Focus Electric may be looking at a pretty substantial price cut. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford will drop the price of the all-electric by about $4,000 to $35,200 to be more competitive with the Nissan Leaf, which received a big price cut for 2013 down to $28,800.
Ford has already admitted to having low expectations for the car's sales and massive rebates were reported earlier in the year, but there is still no official word from Ford on this matter. The company's consumer site still lists the 2014 model's starting price as $39,200. In addition to the Leaf, the Focus Electric will also have to deal with the lower prices of smaller EVs including the Honda Fit EV, Fiat 500e and the Chevrolet Spark EV.

2016 Ford Police Interceptor Utility is ready to tackle Chicago's mean streets

Wed, Feb 11 2015

As is the way of things, when a civilian vehicle gets a significant update, it's only a matter of time before its police counterpart gets similar upgrades. In the case of the Ford Police Interceptor Utility, it's debuting with the same visual updates as the Explorer on which it's based, at this week's 2015 Chicago Auto Show. Like the civilian-market Explorer, the PI Utility is available with a standard 3.7-liter V6 that pumps out 304 horsepower and 279 pound-feet of torque. The higher-caliber option is the tried and true 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, complete with 365 hp and 350 lb-ft of torque. The standard Explorer's optional 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder, meanwhile, won't be offered to the boys in blue. Regardless of engine, the Utility enjoys standard all-wheel-drive, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission. The tranny's default setting is primarily for fuel sipping, although if it detects more aggressive inputs – based on brake line pressure, deceleration and lateral acceleration rates – it switches over to Pursuit Mode, offering officers snappier upshifts and more aggressive downshifts. The PI Utility's other cool, new system is called Surveillance Mode. To protect officers from sneak attacks, Surveillance Mode warns them when someone approaches the rear the car, raising all four windows and locking the doors. While Ford says the system has "intermittent fault filter technology" to prevent "erroneous changes in sensor signals," we're betting it won't be long before veteran officers uncover some way to prank rookies with the tech. Beyond these new systems, this is the same Utility that officers know and love, only with a significant facelift reminiscent of what's found on the civilian model, which debuted at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. The new grille has a positive impact on cooling performance, Ford claims, while a new headlight setup accommodates the high-beam-based "wig-wag" lights. The new look has also allowed Ford to offer police departments additional customized lighting options, for that special touch. Inside, a new steering wheel and center console should make officers' lives easier, as will the new (and requested) liftgate release button, found in the overhead console. Check out the first images of the new Police Interceptor Utility (and, sporty drivers, memorize that headlight pattern) up above. Be sure to check back for additional live images once we check out Ford's latest cop car, at the 2015 Chicago Auto Show.

Ford idling Michigan Assembly Plant to trim Focus, C-Max supply

Tue, 22 Oct 2013

Ford will be putting the brakes on production at its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, MI, idling production during the weeks of October 28 and December 16. Ford is citing the first drop in US sales in 27 months, a 4.2-percent dip in September, as the impetus for trimming their supplies, according to Automotive News.
Ford's deft management of its supplies has been part of its success over the years, and seeing supplies of Focus and C-Max, the two vehicles built at MAP, rise from 58 and 108 days, respectively, to 71 and 122 days over the span of a month was apparently all that was need to justify the trimming. As AN points out, the rule of thumb for many automakers is to maintain a 60-day supply of vehicles.
"Ford has been focused on keeping their pricing in check. Their operating margin is in double digits. Nobody else is there and they're obviously very proud of that," Alan Baum, an auto analyst with Baum & Associates told AN. Keeping the supply chain operating smoothly and not increasing supplies too much is crucial to that healthy profit margin. After all, a large supply lowers prices ,which, in turn, cuts profit. So while this news might not be great for employees at MAP, who now have an extra two weeks of vacation time, it's far from a sign of problems in Dearborn. Quite the opposite, actually.
