1977 Ford Bronco Baja Roadster. I will attempt to describe the build of this Bronco the best I can. Alot of money and time has gone into the finish product you see and now due to circumstances I must sell. As for the exterior the body was sanded down and sealed then basecoat clearcoat PPG was applied and wet sanded to 2500 grit. Body work was completed up to industry standards. Any rust was cutout and repaired properly. Paint is not Barrett Jackson quality however is definitely above great driver quality paint. Hood was damaged during reassemble and was stripped back down and repainted at a later date. Interior required to have floorpans cutout and removed and were properly reinstalled with a high quality replacement then entire interior was rhino lined. Undercarriage was sanded down and undercoated also. As for the drive train this is the most sought after Bronco there is. The last year of the early Broncos offered all the best options, including, Dana 44, Ford 9", and auto transmission. The motor and transmission run flawlessly and have both been completely rebuilt in the last 2 years. The original suspension was removed and replaced with the top of line Cage Offroad 3.5" suspension lift. All new shocks, 8 pack leaf springs, coil springs, and hardware were used for reassemble. The new suspension really helps with the driveability of this Bronco on a daily basis. the undercarriage was sanded and painted also. This Bronco is of course equipped with power disc brakes which give the stoppability of a modern car. Under the hood no attention to detail was missed. New valve covers and gaskets, Motorcraft plugs, high performance plug wires, chrome brake booster, and a very nice Spectre air filter were used. The motor runs very strong, No leaks, knocks, or smoking. As for the interior after rhino lining I optioned for the top of line Corbeau racing front and rear seats, G-force racing harnesses, CD player with speakers, bikini top, and roll bar. This Bronco is a great looking, running, and driving Bronco that I would take anywhere. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions. Bronco is available for any inspections prior to auction end. This bronco is sold with as-is where-is with no warranty written or implied.$1000 deposit due within 24 hours and full payment in cash or wire within 7 days. My listed price is very fair. I am not dreaming like some of the prices you see on Ebay. All serious offers will be considered but my price is pretty much where I need to be and is way less than what I have into it.

Autocar pits Formula Ford against Germany's finest
Wed, 25 Sep 2013Ford has quite the racing pedigree, but usually, its racers are relegated to the track. Not the new Formula Ford EcoBoost, though. It's a turbocharged, open-wheeled racer complete with a 200-horsepower, 1.0-liter, three-cylinder engine... and it's legal on the roads of the UK.
That's stressed in this video from Autocar, with the mag going so far as to show the car's tax disc and license plates. Being a road-legal offering, it's tempting to see just how well an open-wheeler that delivers racecar-like performance while also netting over 100 miles per gallon (assume this is on the British cycle, for obvious reasons) stacks up against modern performance cars.
Autocar lined up the Formula Ford against an Audi R8 V10, a BMW M6 Gran Coupe and a Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG in a number of situations to see which would come out on top. Take a look below for the full video.
Ford idling Michigan Assembly Plant to trim Focus, C-Max supply
Tue, 22 Oct 2013Ford will be putting the brakes on production at its Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, MI, idling production during the weeks of October 28 and December 16. Ford is citing the first drop in US sales in 27 months, a 4.2-percent dip in September, as the impetus for trimming their supplies, according to Automotive News.
Ford's deft management of its supplies has been part of its success over the years, and seeing supplies of Focus and C-Max, the two vehicles built at MAP, rise from 58 and 108 days, respectively, to 71 and 122 days over the span of a month was apparently all that was need to justify the trimming. As AN points out, the rule of thumb for many automakers is to maintain a 60-day supply of vehicles.
"Ford has been focused on keeping their pricing in check. Their operating margin is in double digits. Nobody else is there and they're obviously very proud of that," Alan Baum, an auto analyst with Baum & Associates told AN. Keeping the supply chain operating smoothly and not increasing supplies too much is crucial to that healthy profit margin. After all, a large supply lowers prices ,which, in turn, cuts profit. So while this news might not be great for employees at MAP, who now have an extra two weeks of vacation time, it's far from a sign of problems in Dearborn. Quite the opposite, actually.
Radical RXC is a Mustang-hearted racecar for the road
Fri, May 30 2014Radical has been building fantastic open-cockpit racers and roadcars for years, for the track day enthusiast who wants a vehicle that looks like it could show up for a start at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The company's latest creation is the RXC, and while this coupe looks like a prototype racer, it's road legal in the UK and in some parts of the US. When testing a car this, um, radical, the first thought is likely to get it to the track for some big slides and wide open acceleration, but XCar Films takes the opposite approach in its latest video to learn how this racer fares on public roads. The version tested here is the standard RXC with the 3.7-liter V6 out of the Ford Mustang tuned to 350 horsepower with a seven-speed sequential gearbox; but Radical also offers the same engine with 380-hp, a 454-hp Ford EcoBoost 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6, or even a 500-hp V8. Even in the most basic guise, it's a handful to control in the wet, if this video is any indication. The cliche of a road-legal racecar is bandied around a lot in the motoring world, but it truly applies to the RXC. The only problem with seeing the RXC exclusively on the road is that it can never really open up and show its full potential. This racer is indeed chomping at the bit to rocket off into the horizon, but all those pesky road safety laws hold it back. Still, the video is a chance to get a better impression about this thoroughbred sports car. Scroll down to check it out. This content is hosted by a third party.
