chassis, and installing a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer
case. Additional features include a soft top, 17″ wheels with 40″ tires, modified suspension with Fox shocks,
Wilwood disc brakes, power steering, black fender flares, custom bumpers, a front winch with an air compressor,
powered running boards, black and gray seats, a locking glovebox and console, a hidden Kenwood stereo, and a roll
cage.

The truck features black fender flares, and the soft top and glass were replaced. Custom-built front and rear bumpers have been installed along with a Warn front winch with an air compressor, and additional modifications include LED headlights, Westin fog lights, and powered running boards.

Black 17″ beadlock-style wheels with orange accents wear 40″x13.5″ Toyo Open Country M/T tires, and a
matching spare is mounted at the rear. A Wild Horses hydroboost brake system has been installed along with red
Wilwood four-piston calipers front and rear. The truck is equipped with power steering, front manually-locking
hubs, and a suspension lift utilizing Fox Performance Series 2.0 Reservoir shocks.

The cabin features PRP seats upholstered in black and gray cloth with orange piping as well as a roll cage and a
body-colored dash with a black top pad. A hidden Kenwood Bluetooth stereo has also been added, and additional
modifications include a locking glovebox and center console as well as a Flaming River steering column.

The steering wheel frames a Classic Instruments 140-mph speedometer with an inset tachometer and four auxiliary
gauges. The six-digit odometer shows approximately 1,725 miles.

The 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine utilizes a Holley oil pan as well as a ceramic-coated exhaust and custom air
intake. Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a 4L70E four-speed automatic transmission and an
Atlas dual-range transfer case.

The truck utilizes custom-ordered Currie axles as well as an aluminum fuel tank.

Ford Focus ST checks into Jay Leno's Garage

Mon, 23 Sep 2013

In a change of pace from the high-end vehicles that often appear in Jay Leno's Garage, Ford sends its hottest hatchback (in the US, at least), the 252-horsepower Focus ST, to be featured on Leno's show. Accompanying the five-door hatch is its chief engineer, Jamal Hameedi.
Riding on stylish 18-inch wheels with summer tires and with a spoiler that doubles as a lunch tray, Hameedi and Leno walk us through the finer points of what makes the ST special, which also includes bigger brakes, torque vectoring, a manual transmission and, of course, 252 hp and 270 pound-feet of torque from the 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine, which is made possible by 21 psi of turbocharged boost.
Watch the video below to see what Leno thinks of the global Focus ST.
