RUNs/DRIVEs GREAT.  drive it home!   4:11 gears front and back the C-4 Tranny has a 15% reduction gears and a B&M shift kit/shifter, transfer case has a 3.15 tera low transfer case gears this result sin a 50% reduction in low range and in 2WD the motors runs around 3200 rpm at 70 mph. dual exhaust flow master. was told there are lockers in front and rear.  BRONCO has a 1990 mustang HiPo fuel injected 302 (5.0 )motor in it that screams....a ton of power!!! new battery, new tabs, headers, new computer. fancy gearing and all that stuff. I just spent $$$$$ having the powersteering totally upgraded to F150 conversion with new welded brackets and welded frame rienforcements.  New front disc brakes/ upgraded 12 inch rear drums, new rear axles.   Floor boards are rusted out and should be replaced.  one gas tank works. gas guage broken, heater vents need work.  NO RUST IN FIREWALL OR ENGINE COMPARTMENT.  little surface rust throughout.  matching half Baja door inserts, and original back seat. heavy duty tire holder and swing out.  Steering wheel is straight inline with wheels....but a new steering stabelizer is recommended but it does drive great!!.  The shocks and springs have all been upgraded as well.  Shocks got road rash and the dust covers are a little ragged. luggage rack is broken.  heavy duty custom bumpers!

this is ready for the road and dirt but does need some TLC.  lots of corky little things that need more time and elbow grease on than money. This is a handsome rig, not pretty...but rugged :)

SHIPPING  :  I will drive it to Seattle Hub for transport if needed.

Ford reports 58% drop in Q2 profits on European losses

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

Ford Motor Company announced Wednesday that it has posted a $1 billion profit for the second quarter of 2012. That sounds like good news for the Blue Oval, until you take into account that Ford posted a $2.4 billion profit for Q2 a year ago. That is a substantial 58 percent loss.
Ford also posted $465 million in international losses, with $404 million of those losses coming directly from Europe. The automaker also increased its European loss projections to $1 billion for 2012, due in large part to the economic crisis overseas, which has resulted in increased unemployment and decreased consumer confidence.

Holy crime-fighting Ford F-150, Batman!

Thu, 18 Jul 2013

What would Batman drive for his weekly trips to Home Depot for the bits and pieces needed to keep his lair deep below Wayne Manor in tip-top condition? Certainly not the Batmobile - there's no way a 4x8 sheet of plywood will fit between the wheel wells, not to mention the fact that jet turbine engines have an unfortunate tendency to set trailers on fire when towing...
No, what Batman needs is a pickup truck. The boys from Ford teamed up with Galpin Auto Sports to build just such a machine, and it has just debuted at Comic Con. Designed by Jared Barris, grandson of the legendary kustomizer George Barris, the 2012 F-150 pickup you see here, dubbed Crime Fighter, is painted Tuxedo Black with Ferrari Red highlights and is affixed with fins on each side of the truck bed. It's nothing if not unique.
Well, it's at least unique for now. According to Ford, Galpin in Southern California is willing to take orders for customers looking to don a cape and hit the town for a night of crime-fighting action. Or trips to Home Depot. Check out our high-res image gallery and then scroll down for the official description from Ford. We're waiting for details such as pricing and build time from Ford, and we'll update this post if and when we hear back.

Ford pits The Stig against Gran Turismo 6 in Focus ST Goodwood run

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the world great automotive gatherings. So, it was the perfect event for Ford to give the refreshed 2015 Focus ST its world debut in front of a loving public. It even surprised us with a new diesel-powered version, as well.
The Blue Oval really put its focus on making the ST a better driver for this refresh. It left its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder alone to still pump out a respectable 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The changes like a retuned front suspension, electric power steering and improved interior made the hot hatch an even better place to spend time behind the wheel.
To prove that the Focus ST is still as potent as ever, Ford set up a one-on-one race up the Goodwood Hill. But instead of putting the two cars side-by-side, former Stig from Top Gear UK, Ben Collins, piloted the real model up the course, and his rival drove the virtual version in Gran Turismo 6. The two hot hatches set off at the same time to see whether reality could beat the virtual world, and the finish was actually extremely close. Scroll down to watch the video and find out the winner of this battle at Goodwood.
