There isn't much to say about this truck but WOW. This is an original 1974 Bronco, not a restoration project. What you are looking at is exactly what left the factory in 1974 plus a lot of great upgrades. To build this truck as it is setup would run you well north of 45k if you could find a specimen this nice to start with. The owner is realizing he has a few too many toys and some of them need to go, he is also the owner of an excavating company and he knows how to treat his fleet. The pics speak for themselves. This Bronco rarely sees daylight, it is driven and shown a few times annually. I am helping to sell it, the owner is a very good friend of mine.

So what you have here is an original 1974 Bronco Ranger Edition. The body is rust free, there is one small spot of surface imperfection under the paint as seen in the pics. There is one small ding on the LR corner and  molding as seen (we are not sure when or how it happened but I don't like surprises when picking something up so it is pointed out.) This is the original interior fabric and carpet.
The original unmolested 302 still sits proudly under the hood, it now has a HEI electronic ignition. The hood was professionally reconfigured to accommodate the taller more reliable distributor. Standard 3 speed (on the tree) has never been touched other than oil service and shifts like the day it was purchased. Limited slip front and rear axles.
Vehicle is OIL UNDERCOATED (HEAVILY)

New Clutch w/ 19 finger modern pressure plate with disc flywheel and throw out bearing were installed (NICE)
Factory steering gearbox was replaced with 3:1 ratio.
Rancho Steering Dampener and Front Springs
New Rear Shocks
US Wheel Chrome Spoked wheels with BF Groodrich Radial T/A (Like New)
Power Brakes
Roll Bar and 3 point seat belts were added
Class 3 Receiver W/Hitch and Wiring installed (I don't think it's been used)
8000 Series Warn Winch
New C bushings and alaignment
New Flowmaster Dual Exhaust
Duff 2 inch Lift
ClassisAir  A/C professionally installed
Factory Dual Fuel Tanks with Skid Plates
Aftermarket AM/FM Clarion Cassette
Folding Chrome Exterior Mirrors,
Adjustable Track Bar
Custom Steering Wheel

This Bronco is very well documented with ultra low mileage. Current Owner is the 4th owner, we have the original window sticker, owner's manual, brochure, sales invoice, registration, original title and many other related documents.
This Bronco is a very rare find in this condition. The vehicle is sold as is with no warranty but I can tell you this truck runs and drives as nice as it looks it is a real piece of American History and a treasure for a Ford Collector or enthusiast. The current owner has over 33k invested in this truck, the reserve will reflect that. Please no low ball offers, we are not desperate to move it . The truck is for sale locally and via other venues so this listing could end without notice. If you want to make a reasonable offer send it, the worst we can say is no.
All standard equipment parts  removed are included with the sale. The only thing we do not have are the stock wheels but we do have the original hub caps (not reproductions). The truck currently sits in it's stable in Castleton Vermont and can be seen by prearranged appointment. We would love to show it, please let us know if you are interested.
I would not hesitate to drive it home regardless of where home is. We will be happy to help with shipping or Export. We can also help with transportation to or from a nearby airport, however anything beyond the sale price of the vehicle is the responsibility of the buyer.

A 500 Dollar non refundable deposit is due within 24 hours of the sale. Completion and payment in Cash or Certified Funds is expected within 10 days of purchase.

I have provided the most accurate description I can and provided great pictures but remember this is a 40 year old vehicle. What you see is what you are buying there will be no surprises when you come to pick it up.
THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS IS WITHOUT WARRANTY.

How did Ford keep the GT a secret before Detroit?

Mon, Feb 2 2015

True secrecy is a rarity in the automotive industry. Sure, companies try to keep their future projects under wraps all of the time, but usually a spy shot or blurry development photo leaks out. The complete lack of any hard details before its unveiling likely helped make the Ford GT one of the biggest stars of the 2015 Detroit Auto Show. Not only was it the favorite of Autoblog's editors, but the supercar scored a prestigious EyesOn Design Award, too. Rumors about the vehicle had circulated for weeks before the show, but no one really knew much about the GT until it rolled onto the stage for Ford's press conference in Joe Louis Arena. Amazingly, the Blue Oval kept things mostly a secret during the car's 14- month gestation period prior to its debut. According to Automotive News, the GT project began in late 2013 by a skunk works team, including six designers, that guided the supercar along from birth until the unveiling. Ford kept things clandestine by locking the vehicle in a basement storage room, and only the group members got a key to the lock. Much of the development was also done at night to further keep the secret, but occasionally the prototype was hauled outside on weekends to check it out in natural light. Because of the speed in getting the development done and for even more stealth, the designers didn't get input from the Blue Oval's other styling teams around the world. But that was somewhat of a double-edged sword. "You don't actually get to bounce opinions off people," Ford design boss Moray Callum said to Automotive News. "We were on tenterhooks ourselves until the first people saw it." Even now, there are still mysteries surrounding the GT. There's still no official word on the supercar's power; just that it's over 600 horsepower. There are also the persistent rumors going back months that the Blue Oval plans to take the GT racing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of automaker's Le Mans victory. Although, maybe this time the secrecy wasn't so good because we might have got a glimpse of the racer, recently. Related Video:

Trump to meet with CEOs from Ford, GM, and FCA

Tue, Jan 24 2017

In the wake of his inauguration, President Donald Trump is set to meet with the CEOs of Ford, General Motors, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Tuesday morning to discuss jobs, the North American Free Trade Agreement, and potential tax cuts. Trump has been highly critical of American automakers for shipping jobs to Mexico and has threatened to impose heavy import fees on foreign-made vehicles. Trump has threatened to dissolve NAFTA in order to encourage automakers to manufacture cars in the US. Automotive News and Crain's Detroit Business are reporting that the group is set to discuss how to bring more auto industry jobs back to the US. Under NAFTA, many automakers, both foreign and domestic, have moved vehicle production out of the States to Mexico in order to cut costs. White House spokesperson Sean Spicer said Trump is looking forward to the meeting and discussing how to bring jobs back to America. Dismantling NAFTA would be a major blow to automakers. Trump blasted Ford during his campaign for manufacturing in Mexico, but FCA and GM also have factories south of the border. Earlier this month, Ford nixed plans for a $1.6 billion plant in Mexico, instead investing $700 million into an existing facility. At this year's Detroit Auto Show, the unspoken theme was America and American manufacturing. Expect the automakers to fight to keep NAFTA alive. Ford confirms Everest SUV production for China

Sat, 19 Apr 2014

According to Ford, the Chinese SUV segment grew by 49 percent in 2013, and the Blue Oval held a 4.5 percent market share. At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Ford is showing the Everest SUV that, while just a concept for now, will go into production in the near future.
The Everest is a big, brawny seven-seat SUV that mixes solid, chiseled styling and contemporary Ford design cues. Up front there is an angular version of the trapezoidal grille and sharp, wraparound headlights. The beltline rises in the rear to make the back appear higher than the front. The rear seems just as chiseled, with the taillights resting in jagged scallops. There is no doubt that this concept means to look rugged, and ready for rough roads - the whole thing looks pretty great.
The truck was penned by Ford's Asia Pacific design and engineering team in Australia, and it was first shown in Sydney last year. Ford's JMC joint venture will build the truck for the Chinese market, and it will be sold at Ford dealers there. The Blue Oval isn't hinting at what powers the production version yet, but it reportedly shares some components with the foreign-market Ranger.
