Up for sale is my 1974 Ford Bronco. I purchased this Bronco from the Original owners family about 7 years ago. The owner purchased it brand new in 1974 in Dallas Texas. He drove the vehicle for 20,000 miles and then was put in a nursing home due to a illness and is still there to this day. The family sold me the bronco to pay towards his medical bills. This bronco had been kept in the families Ranch warehouse until I purchased it 7 years ago. This bronco was a uncut total original Bronco with what I was told 20,000 actual miles, but that I will not guarantee without proper documentation. I have had Broncos all my life and this Bronco was a deal of a life time. I wanted this Bronco to be built for highway use and around town driving. I had this Bronco converted to a fuel injected Bronco from a 1986 Mustang 5.0 doner parts car. The bronco engine is still the original numbers matching engine, just rebuilt and fuel injected. All the work was done to the highest level and no corners were took in the build. Just in the last month I have over $5,000.00 in receipts on more engine work and lots of little things these things need replaced. I has a 3 inch body lift, new EFI 23 gallon fuel tank, new fuel lines, New brakes and power brake booster, new shocks, brand new magna flow exhaust system from to back, new heater controls and cables, new head gasket. This vehicle is equipped with a electric fan for the radiator. And many more things that would take me for ever to type in this add. I will supply all receipts I have for this bronco. The paint was repainted about 7 years ago, it is not a show quality job but not bad looking. This vehicle has rust in all the areas they are known for. This vehicle has been built with much pride, I was building the ultimate Bronco for me to have and to drive any where I wanted or needed to. I paid $12,000 for this vehicle 7 years ago and have spent well over  $7,000 in parts and labor to get this vehicle in perfect running mechanical condition. I was about to replace the wheels and tires but I thought the new buyer could do that. At this moment the original wheels and hubcaps are installed. I never thought I would sale this Bronco, I have spent much time and money to build the ultimate Bronco for my self. It is all original except for the engine, all the interior is original in in great condition. 4 wheel drive has been rebuilt and works perfect. This vehicle will be sold to the highest bidder, sold as-is , and sold with no warranty . Buyer will be responsible to pick up vehicle in 10 days or less from auction end. $500 deposit through paypal at auction end and the remaining balance due at vehicle pickup in CASH, no checks, no cashiers check, no bank draft, I mean cash hundred dollar bills. Thank you for your time and God bless you

EU formally questions French government assistance of Peugeot's finance arm

Fri, 28 Dec 2012

Recently, the finance arm of PSA/Peugeot-Citroën was in such debt trouble that it was pricing itself out of the car loan market. The rates it was paying to service its debt, which was rated one step above junk, were so high that it was forced to charge car-buying customers higher rates than they could find elsewhere. This was adding to Peugeot's already impressive woes by sending revenue out the door to competitors.
Two months ago a deal was worked out with the French government whereby the state would provide 7 billion euro ($9 billion USD) in bonds to guarantee the finance arm's loans. The French government could nominate someone to join the Peugeot board, Peugeot would guarantee more French jobs, and on top of that deal, other banks would provide non-guaranteed loans. The government would take no equity stake in the car company.
Although not yet finalized, the arrangement is meant to create some breathing room for Peugeot Finance to lower its interest rates for customers, and a government-nominated board member, Louis Gallois, was recently named to Peugeot's supervisory board. The arrangement was also openly questioned by at least three competitors: Ford, Renault - which is 15-percent owned by the French government after it received state aid - and the German state of Lower Saxony, itself a 15-percent shareholder in Volkswagen.

Spy shooter claims proof of upcoming aluminum Ford F-Series Super Duty

Thu, 26 Jun 2014

Ford has already confirmed that the 2015 F-150 (pictured above) was just the beginning for its more extensive use of aluminum. CEO Alan Mulally said it himself during the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. We've even already seen the future Raptor testing with an aluminum body. But a recent discovery from an intrepid spy photographer might indicate that the lightweight metal is coming to the Blue Oval's Super Duty pickups in their upcoming generation, as well.
According to Automotive News, a spy shooter in Colorado spotted a prototype for the next-gen F-350 testing. He happened to have a magnet on hand and got close enough to check the truck out. When he held it up to the metal in the bed, it didn't stick, which signaled to him a switch from steel to aluminum.
Obviously, this claim raises some questions. Given that it was a test vehicle, one possibility is that the Blue Oval is just evaluating the feasibility of switching to aluminum for the Super Duty trucks, not necessarily committed to it yet. Ford has been testing it quite exhaustively, after all. In fact, much of the rest of the truck in question was covered in camouflage, so it's possible that the magnet failed to work along the rest of the body not because it was aluminum, but because it wasn't powerful enough to get through the disguising material. Thus, the lightweight metal's use could be far less substantial than on the new F-150. Still, it was a clever idea for the cameraman to check things out and might have given us the first hint about brand's next heavy-duty models.

2015 Ford Mustang GT [w/video]

Fri, 19 Sep 2014

At 50 years old, the object of fantasies, a tuner's dream, a movie star and more than nine million strong, it couldn't be truer to say that the Ford Mustang needs no introduction. This newest Mustang, however - making the biggest changes we've seen to the pony car since perhaps 1964.5 - is something Ford has been introducing all year.
We went on a Deep Dive, covered the way it looks when it was revealed, detailed the engine specs, got a ride in the EcoBoost and listened to the V8, got rolling footage and watched it do a standard-feature burnout.
The only thing left to do? Drive it. Having now done so for a few hours around Los Angeles, what we can tell you is to forget everything you know about the Mustang. This new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment.
