THIS IS NOT A SCAM!  I purchased this truck about three weeks ago in Midland, Texas.  It is listed on Midland, Texas Craigslist.  I drove this truck back to California with no issues.  It was my intention to ship this vehicle to Costa Rica where I have a business, but I ran into importation issues.  This truck is also listed for sale in several cities in California.  I have a Texas title in my possession that will be switched over to a California title tomorrow.  Three people are coming to look at the truck tomorrow (Wednesday) and if one of them buys it, I reserve the right to end the auction early since no one has bid on the truck as of today (Tuesday).

Please do not contact me to end the auction early unless you want to pay a non-refundable $1000 deposit.  This auction was ended early last time because someone said they were going to buy it and didn't have their financing in order.

1974 Ford Bronco for sale - lots of updates

The Bronco body was removed from the frame and the whole tub of the bronco soda blasted. The whole front end of the bronco has been replaced - floor pans, door post, inner fender, outer fender. The frame was replaced. The entire bronco was coated with POR 15 ( which is a rust inhibitor) before painting. There has been 35000 spent on this project. It is going to need the hood replaced because hydraulic supports were added and the original hood couldn't handle it and there is a bend across the hood. Tom's Bronco sells hoods for $319. This happened after the restoration and paint and there hasn't been time to address the issue. Also the hard top has not been restored.

Next Ford Mustang to drop 400 pounds

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

The Ford Mustang is already the lightest of the current crop of muscle cars, at around 3,600 pounds for a GT coupe with the six-speed manual transmission. That's almost 260 pounds less than a Chevrolet Camaro SS and about 450 pounds less than a Dodge Challenger R/T, which means the Mustang has a pretty big advantage when it comes to handling, braking, accelerating and economy. More good news: The next Mustang will be even lighter.
According to a report from Edmunds, the sixth-generation Mustang, which is set to debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, will shed an additional 400 pounds of body fat. That 11-percent weight reduction will be thanks to lightweight materials, with a particular focus on using stronger, but less material in construction. Aluminum will feature heavily, but Edmunds' inside source warns that there is "nothing terribly exotic" coming to the original pony car.
The other big news is that the new Mustang will be smaller overall. It's going to be 15-inches shorter than the 188.5-inch Mustang on sale today, while it'll also be 6.5 inches narrower. Shorter overhangs, both in the front and rear, are also good signs for those that want an agile Mustang.

Solid axle? What solid axle?
I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation.
This should not have gone this easily. Having a long and checkered history of simple projects punctuated by much wailing and gnashing of knuckles, I was fully prepared to embark on a seven-day journey down a rabbit hole of broken bolts, internet hearsay and consternation when I finally decided to lay hands on the '89 Mustang with the goal of relieving the car of its stock rear axle. Instead, it took less than a full morning's worth of work to carve the old 7.5-inch solid axle from its moorings and mock up something, well, different.

Ford blimp crashes inside Portland Trail Blazers arena

Fri, Dec 5 2014

Portland basketball fans got a free, very safe recreation of the Hindenburg disaster when a Ford airship crashed into the stands during a game between the Trail Blazers and Indiana Pacers. Reportedly no one was hurt, but arena staff trying to push the inflatable vehicle through a hole it was too big for, made for some fantastic video and photos. This content is hosted by a third party. The first gives an idea of just how hard it was to fit the blimp through the exit of the arena, and the second is a time-lapse look from someone right next to the action. All these clips need is Yakety Sax as background music for some true Internet gold. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings.
