I have up for auction my 1972 Ford Bronco. This original, uncut Bronco would make an excellent restoration piece or with a little work a fun weekend driver. This Bronco is equipped with the original 170 6cyl and three speed on the column. As you can see in the pictures it has the normal bronco rust and a few dings and dents. Some patch work had been done by a previous owner, but not a professional job. The frame on this Bronco is rock solid. Mechanically, some work has already been done to include new wheel cylinders all the way around, every brake hose has been replaced, had rear drive shaft professionally rebuilt and new u-joints in the front driveshaft, new outer axle bearings in the rear end with new axle seals. The original transmission was shot and I replaced it with a know good trans, new fuel pump, etc. The engine does use oil and runs a little rough at idle. Overall this Bronco is in original unrestored condition, so if you have any questions please ask before you bid. This vehicle is sold AS/IS WHERE IS with no warranty. The winning bidder is responsible for all shipping costs and arranging the shipping. I require a $500.00 deposit through PayPal within 24hrs. of the auction ending with the remaining balance due within 4 days of the auction ending and I will accept a cashier check or cash in person. NHTSA closes book on Ford, GM probes of 600,000 vehicles
Thu, Nov 27 2014US safety regulators have closed a pair of investigations into some 500,000 Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Grand Marquis and Marauder sedans built between 2004 to 2007, and 100,000 Chevrolet Impala models from 2014. The Ford investigation focused on rusting heat shields, which may become dislodged and jam the steering, according to Reuters. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found that this happened very rarely. In fact, of the ten incidents filed with the government safety watchdog, six came from a single police department, which evidently had some sort of problem with its reporting. As for the Impala, the NHTSA investigators attributed two incidences of "unintended autonomous braking" to user error. In both cases, the vehicles were involved in rear-end collisions. According to GM investigators, it's believed that drivers accidentally activated the electric parking brake, causing the collisions. The vehicles in question were rental cars. Ford 3D-printing Mustang out of chocolate and candy for Valentine's Day
Thu, 13 Feb 2014Is your beloved in love with the new 2015 Ford Mustang? Do they like chocolate (that's a trick question - everyone likes chocolate)? Are they a bit of a futurist? Then this Hallmark holiday, you need to get them this Ford Mustang, 3D-printed in sweet, delicious chocolate.
Ford is teaming with 3D Systems' Sugar Lab in LA to produce the super-accurate pony car confections in both chocolate and sugar candy varieties. The process kicked off with a CAD rendering of the 2015 Mustang, which was then programmed into the 3D printer. After a bit of work from the machine, a four-inch long, two-inch tall Mustang was the result. Why the tieup with 3D Systems, though?
"We wanted to create something fun to show that while 3D printing made these edible Mustangs, manufacturing-level 3D printing was used in the development of Ford's all-new sports car," said Paul Susalla, Ford's supervisor of 3D printing.
