1971 Ford Bronco

Full frame off restoration, stunning black exterior and matching black interior, very high attention placed on the build with great paint & body work. The rear quarters were custom made by cutting and sectioning the opening. It retains the "stock, uncut" look " LUBER" but it now allows for much larger tires and wheels choices.

Drive train-
Ford Bronco 289 - completely rebuilt, tons of new parts
4bbl carb and intake, new air intake filter.
3spd on the column manual transmission - rebuilt.
Brakes completely redone with new master cylinder, booster and lines.
New power steering system conversion.
Rebuilt axles, bearings, etc
2 inch body lift kit
5 inch suspension lift
"bulletproof" over the knuckle steering linkage (heim joint ends)
Upgraded to polymer "Aero" gas tank with new fuel lines.

Exterior -
Beautiful black paint, professional paint and body
Raised "Cobra Jet" style Mustang hood scoop on factory steel hood. The body is ALL metal. One custom built bumper to match the one purchased, tube style Bumpers - heavy
Most pictures show the 36 inch tires and Mickey Thomspon wheels, can also come with the wheels and smaller tires currently installed (Mickey Thompson also). These are street style tires which tuck under the body better and offer better road manners.

Interior-
New black upholstery and new seat cushioning material. Old seats were torn down, metal frames blasted and painted.
3pt seat belts can come with the sale
Aftermarket steering wheel

Second guages added to bottom of dash, can remove and stick with stock if preferred

Issues like brake lights, turn signals, horns and hazard lights have been gone over.

Custom 6 point Roll Cage

New owner still needs to decide on:

top choice - hard top, soft top, bikini, or topless

rear seat - install factory seat, newer aftermarket fold and tumble, or none (about a 30 minute project)

Looks great, get lots of "that is a bad a*s Bronco" comments. In short, a nice clean Bronco.

Due to vehicle age it is sold as is where is with no warranty stated or implied.

Ford To Unveil Solar Hybrid Concept Car At CES

Thu, Jan 2 2014

Ford plans to unveil at this month's International CES gadget show a solar-powered concept car that offers the same performance as a plug-in hybrid but without the need for a plug. The C-Max Solar Energi Concept car uses a gasoline engine combined with a gizmo that acts like a magnifying glass to concentrate the sun's rays on the vehicle's roof-mounted solar panels. The automaker says the vehicle's estimated combined city-highway mileage is 100 miles (160 kilometers) per gallon. The U.S. auto maker says that by using solar power instead of an electric plug, a typical owner will reduce their annual greenhouse gas emissions by four metric tons. The company says it sold about 85,000 hybrid or electric vehicles in 2013, including 6,300 units of its C-Max Energi plug-in hybrid. The sun-ray concentrator was developed by researchers at the Georgia Institute of Technology and uses what is known as a Fresnel lens, which concentrates light but can be made thinner than a conventional lens. A full day of sunshine is equivalent to a four-hour battery charge, or 8 kilowatts, Ford says. On a full charge, it should have a range of 620 miles (997 kilometers), the same as the C-Max Energi. The concept car also comes with a plug-in port for standard electric charging. Ford says that 75 percent of all trips made by an average driver could be powered by the sun. After showing off the concept car at the convention in Las Vegas Jan. 7-10, Ford Motor Co. says that it will test the vehicle with institute researchers to determine if it's feasible for mass production. What's in a trademark? Sometimes, the next iconic car name

Thu, 07 Aug 2014

The United States Patent and Trademark Office is a treasure trove for auto enthusiasts, especially those who double as conspiracy theorists.
Why has Toyota applied to trademark "Supra," the name of one of its legendary sports cars, even though it hasn't sold one in the United States in 16 years? Why would General Motors continue to register "Chevelle" long after one of the most famous American muscle cars hit the end of the road? And what could Chrysler possibly do with the rights to "313," the area code for Detroit?

2015 Ford Mustang GT road test ride-along

Wed, 24 Sep 2014

You've no doubt already pored over our first drive of the 2015 Ford Mustang, where author Jonathon Ramsey proclaimed that "this new car shames the old, redefines the model and gallops far ahead of anything else in the segment." And following Ramsey's first stint behind the wheel of Ford's new coupe, we sent him back out with another 'Stang to capture some of these same impressions over a backdrop of the car moving quickly along gorgeous California canyon roads.
But this also gave our author and editors time to read through the hundreds of comments left on that original Mustang review. You readers are indeed a vocal bunch, and one particular comment about how the automotive media is so willing to bash an outgoing car as soon as the new one arrives really caught our attention. In this video, Ramsey stands by his written text, saying the new Mustang is "massively better than the one it replaces," and in doing so, addresses your comments while providing more insight into just how good the Ford truly is.
We won't spoil the rest for you. Check out the feature video above, and as always, leave us your thoughts in the Comments section below.
