Instrument cluster has been rebuilt and
All the lights work, blinkers, brake, reverse, highbeams,!etc... what is currently not conneted is the temp gauge and speedo, the cable is good and located at the trans case, but is comes in contect with shifting linage, due to the added fuel injection sensor (which is plugged into the speedo port, this tells the computer if the vehicle is moving), I never got to fabing a simple linkage to miss the cable.

I used the term "restored" lightly, even thou it looks awesome from 5 feet way, it is not a show truck and it's not a frame off, more of a frame on restoration. . . it was painted without much bodywork, so there are some dents and dings and a few touch up spots. There is no rust in the floors or visible sheet metal. There is some on the inner fender, but no a big deal, cant see it unless your under the truck or in the wheel wheel, has been treated with rust stop paint

This is the perfect bronco, it looks and performs great and has enough all terrain edge to it, without being over built or too restored. I've had fully restored 4wd trucks before, and I ended up hated it, because I couldn't let the dogs in it, or kids go for a ride, or even go off road because I didn't want to scratch the paint.. .. this is the prefect mix (imo).

I also have a garage full of misc parts and pieces that will go with it, including hard doors (rough shape) hinges carb set up, extra transmissions, heads, gaskets, paint, etc..

Please: Im Not interested in trades unless it's a vehicle well worth more than my bronco. No motorcycle, No boats, No junk, No projects. I don't want help selling. No, I wont trade my bronco for a paper clip.

Ford opens 88 new dealerships in China in a single day

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

"Ford opened 88 dealerships in China last year." "Ford opened 88 dealerships in China during the first half of 2014." "Ford opened 88 dealerships in China last month." None of those statements - even the last one - would seem unbelievable. Saying "Ford opened up 88 dealerships in China last Thursday," though, is a bit more dramatic.
Yes, on June 19 alone, Ford opened the doors on nearly 100 showrooms in the People's Republic, boosting the Blue Oval's total presence in the country to 750 dealerships. Of course, while an overabundance of dealers in the US proved troublesome for American manufacturers back in 2008 and 2009, there's no such concern in China. Considering the country's huge population and the breakneck pace of the local auto industry, you could be forgiven for being surprised Ford only has 750 outlets at this stage.
What's notable about this most recent push, besides the sheer volume of new stores, is their location. Over three-quarters of the new dealerships are in so-called Tier 4 cities, which are smaller towns that still contain millions of people. This fits with Ford's strategy in China of avoiding the bigger battlegrounds that are already dominated by competitors and focusing on setting up shop in newer markets that may have been overlooked, according to Automotive News.

Car-crazy 5-year-old boy writes automakers for treasures, gets big response

Fri, Jan 25 2019

Part of the beauty of children is that they can find worth in something adults might deem unworthy or overlook entirely. Five-year-old Patch Hurty didn't see garbage or a broken piece of a car when he spotted a Ford badge lying on the side of a road. He saw an artifact, a souvenir, a start to a collection he could only dream of. Ezra Dyer of Popular Mechanics tells the story of Patch and his quest to turn that one lost badge into a museum of manufacturer logos. According to the article, Hurty is a car fanatic through and through, even using car names as a way of learning to read. After finding the Ford badge near his Connecticut home, he and his mom put together a plan to reach out to dozens of automakers, confessing his love of things on four wheels. In each letter, Patch assembled a picture of himself standing next to one of the cars, and a penny to pay for whatever he hoped was sent his way. The response was unexpectedly and overwhelmingly positive. Of the more than 50 letters he sent out, including to obscure or defunct companies such as Bugatti, Suzuki, and Saturn, a majority responded with warm notes and some type of souvenir. Two of the coolest responses came from Lincoln and Bentley. Lincoln sent a sketch of a Continental (all car lovers enjoy drawing cars, right?), and Bentley sent a wheel center cap. How awesome is that? The story reminds us of something that can easily be lost in all of the negativity involved with the auto industry: Everybody is in this because of a common infatuation with automobiles. For more details on the souvenirs Patch received and accompanying photos, read the rest of the story. And the Top Gear UK Cars of the Year for 2013 are...

Tue, 17 Dec 2013

Those loony Brits at Top Gear have named their Car of the Year, and if you're thinking it's the McLaren P1, Jaguar F-Type, Land Rover Range Rover Sport or Rolls-Royce Wraith, we're sorry to inform you that none of those Anglo automobiles earned the crown. In fact, the winner of Top Gear's most prestigious award is quite the surprise.
Of course, those cars weren't without their own awards. The P1 was the top hypercar (sorry, Porsche 918 and Ferrari LaFerrari), while the F-Type netted best convertible and the Range Rover Sport was voted SUV of the Year. Other honorable mentions included the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black and S-Class, the Porsche 911 GT3, the BMW i3 and the Ferrari 458 Speciale. The winner, though, wasn't even a high-dollar supercar. It was the Ford Fiesta ST.
Yes, the Fiesta ST beat out some off-the-wall cars like the revolutionary Volkswagen XL1 and the bonkers Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak, not to mention all the cars we listed above, to take the title of Top Gear Car of the Year. And if you've driven one, you'll completely understand why.
