YOU ARE BIDDING ON A NICE 1968

FORD BRONCO SPORT WAGON

289 V8 4X4

WITH A CLEAN CALIFORNIA TITLE

IN 1968 THERE WERE ONLY 16,629 BRONCO'S PRODUCED, AND OF THOSE NUMBERS I WOULD SAY LESS THAN A QUARTER ARE STILL IN ORIGINAL UNCUT CONDITION. MOST OWNERS PUT THERE OWN PERSONAL TOUCHES ON THEM AND CUT THE FENDERS TO GO OFF-ROADING. I HAD BIG PLANS FOR THE BRONCO BUT I JUST DONT HAVE THE TIME TO ENJOY IT. IT WAS RECENTLY PAINTED A FEW MONTHS AGO AND NEW INTERIOR WAS INSTALLED. THE BRONCO FIRES RIGHT UP AND SOUNDS SMOOTH, BUT IT HASN'T HAD MUCH ROAD TIME IN THE LAST 5 YEARS. IT'S TIME TO GO TO SOMEONE WITH THE TIME TO ENJOY IT.

BRONCO FEATURES:

ORIGINAL 289 V8 ENGINE

DUAL EXHAUST

MANUAL 3 SPEED TRANSMISSON

MANUAL BRAKES, FRONT AND REAR DRUMS

FORD 9" REAR END WITH 4.11 GEARS, LOCKING FRONT HUBS

FRONT BUCKET SEATS, REAR BENCH SEAT, BLACK CARPET, WHITE DOOR PANELS

REMOVEABLE WHITE TOP, VERY SOLID BODY AND UNDERCARRIAGE

Feel free to ask any and all questions and have fun bidding.

Reminder this Bronco is 45 years old it is not going to be perfect.

If that is what you are looking for keep looking. However this is a very clean Ford Bronco.

Please only bid what you are willing to pay and please be sure you have your wife's permission and

all financing/money in order prior to bidding.

Jay Leno is far beyond driven in his 1971 Pantera

Mon, 23 Jun 2014

Perhaps it's fitting that the band Pantera is known for its heavy metal music, because the DeTomaso Pantera is the automotive equivalent of a metal album. It's short, aggressive and makes a mean sound. It doesn't mess around either, with a Ford 351-cubic-inch (5.75-liter) V8 sending mountains of torque to the rear wheels. This week, Jay Leno takes us on a detailed tour of his '71 to show why it rocks.
There's a regular format to Jay Leno's Garage. It starts with Jay and maybe a guest taking a look at the car and talking about its history, and then they take it out on the open road. However, this video is practically a Pantera buyer's guide. Jay is adamant from the start that the last thing anyone should own is a stock example. To remedy this, he and his guest, the editor of the Pantera Club magazine, take viewers to school about some of the ways to turn them into even better performance machines.
No matter what you do to it, though, the Pantera requires that the driver adapt to it, not the other way around. For example, Jay isn't a big guy by most standards, but he has to cram himself into the cockpit with his shoes off and shirt partially unbuttoned just to go for a drive. Still, once out on the road, it all makes sense with that rumbling V8 and those Italian supercar looks. Scroll down to watch and learn a lot more about this uncompromising '70s performance car.

Ford files trademark application for 'Model E'

Fri, 27 Dec 2013

In early December, Ford filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office for the name "Model E." Historically, Ford never produced a Model E, and while automakers are known to file for trademarks they never use, some have wondered if the application might be used for a concept car.
Based on other recent events, though, it could be a legal move. In 2000 Ford sued an online start-up called Model E over the similarity of that name to Ford's industry-shaping Model T, but the judge dismissed the case citing lack of proper grounds. In August 2013, Tesla applied for trademark registration for Model E, and at the time, Ford said it would review the application. Tesla actually made two applications for Model E, one for automobiles and structural parts therefore, the other for "providing maintenance and repair services for automobiles," and there are plenty of theories about what the name could be applied to.
The Published for Opposition date for Tesla's applications is December 31, 2013, after which anyone who thinks they'd be harmed by Tesla being granted the trademark gets 30 days to register their issues. This is just speculation, but Ford's application - which was filed for automobiles only - might be about protecting what it sees as unwelcome encroachment on the name Model T, protection it wasn't able to enforce before when the stakes were only online and much smaller.

Hear the 2015 Mustang GT V8 roar for the first time

Wed, 26 Jun 2013

Our combined knowledge of the 2015 Ford Mustang continues to deepen, as spy shooters have begun to compile video and audio of the upcoming sixth-generation car.
Case in point is this latest series of video clips, which not only gives us a great vantage point of the Mustang in motion, but also allows us to hear the Ford V8 engine and exhaust. After perusing the aural delights of this short video, which, admittedly, doesn't catch the Mustang GT at full song, we can at least say that the throaty exhaust isn't disappointing.
Chances are good that the 2015 Mustang GT will debut with some version of the current (and excellent) Coyote 5.0-liter V8 engine, though we're unclear as to whether or not the motor has been massaged for its next-gen debut, or what may have been done to exhaust plumbing. At this point, we're just happy to hear the pony run. Scroll below to hear for yourself.
