1967 Ford Bronco Very Clean Really Sharp on 2040-cars
Benton, Arkansas, United States
THIS 1967 FORD BRONCO HAS A 6 CYLINDER ORIGINAL REBUILT ENGINE, IT STARTS AND RUNS PERFECT. IT HAS THE 3 SPEED MANUEL TRANSMISSION, ALL GEARS ARE GOOD INCLUDING THE TRANSFER CASE, THE FRONT DIFFENTIAL, AND THE REAR END. IT DRIVES GOOD, BUT IF YOU WANTED TO, YOU COULD ADJUST OR BLEED THE RIGHT FRONT BRAKE BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T PUMP THE BRAKE PEDAL, IT TENDS TO PULL A LITTLE TO THE LEFT. I HAVE OWNED IT FOR ABOUT 3 YEARS AND MY FRIEND I BROUGHT IT FROM OWNED IT FOR 17 YEARS. IT HASN'T ALWAYS SPENT IT'S LIFE OUTSIDE IN THE WEATHER, SO IT HAD VERY LITTLE RUST BEFORE. I PAINTED IT THE 2 TONE SUNBURST ORANGE AND BRONZE EXPERTLY DONE WITH NEW BLACK BUSHWACKER FENDER FLARES. THEN I REDONE THE INTERIOR WITH THE BLACK SEATS, CARPET AND HEADLINER. REALLY THE ONLY THING YOU COULD DO TO THIS BRONCO IS ADJUST THE DOOR STRIKER TO CLOSE THE GAP ON THE LEFT DOOR AND INSTALL NEW DOOR RUBBERS FOR A TIGHT FIT.. I REALLY HATE TO SELL MY LITTLE BRONCO BUT BECAUSE OF MY RECENT SHOULDER SURGERY AND THE FACT EVEN THOUGH IT STEERS PERFECTLY EASY, I AM UNABLE TO DRIVE IT AND I AM GOING TO RETIRE AND SELL IT AND SOME OF OTHER COLLECTION OF CARS TO PAY OFF MY HOUSE. GOOD LUCK BIDDING AND ENJOYING IT, EVERYONE LOVES MY PAINT AND INTERIOR COMBINATION AND IT ALWAYS GETS A LOT OF LOOKS AND COMPLIMENTS EVERYWHERE I GO. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME ANY TIME FOR ANY QUESTIONS AND OR OFFERS, BUT PLEASE DON'T EMAIL ME OR TEXT ME AS I AM 65 YEARS OLD AND IT IS HARD FOR ME TO TEXT AND ANSWER EMAILS, US TALKING ON THE PHONE IS MORE PERSONAL TO ME, MY NUMBER IS 501-413-8793, THANKS, RANDY DYER I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SELL THIS VEHICLE LOCALLY, OR SELL IT ANYTIME AND MAY END THE AUCTION IF THE VEHICLE SELLS. Ford Fiesta becomes UK all-time best seller
Thu, 24 Jul 2014We may regard Ford as an American automaker, but ask a Brit and they may tell you otherwise. The Blue Oval has, after all, been selling cars in the UK since 1903, and started manufacturing there as far back as 1911 when it began local production of the Model T in Manchester. Last year Ford ended 100 years of vehicle manufacturing in the UK when the last Transit van rolled off the assembly line in Southampton, but it's still the biggest-selling automotive marque in Britain.
Ford has led the British market for 34 out of the past 45 years, selling more Fiestas than any other company sells any other car in the UK since 2009... when it overtook the Focus. In fact the Fiesta has now become the best-selling car in British history, topping 4,115,000 units since its introduction in 1976. The previous record was held by - you guessed it - another Ford: the Escort sold 4,105,961 units over the course of its 32 years on the British market.
Although the Fiesta is no longer manufactured in the UK (previous versions having been built at Dagenham until 2002), engines are: the EcoBoost line was developed at the company's R&D center in Essex and are built at the factory in Dunton, while its diesel engines were developed at Dagenham in East London. Even the 1.6-liter EcoBoost engine in the Fiesta ST is built in South Wales.

Ford builds Lightweight Concept with Fusion shell [w/video]
Wed, 04 Jun 2014It's a fairly well known fact that removing weight from a car is essentially a panacea for many of the modern automobiles problems. Does it handle like crap? Remove weight. Underpowered? Don't add power; trim the fat. Need to improve fuel economy? It's diet time.
Actually executing a major weight reduction program, though, much like with human beings, is no easy task. Unlike you or I, where motivation is the issue, the prohibitive measure in trimming a car's waistline is money. Lightweight materials are expensive, with carbon fiber and carbon-fiber reinforced plastic still primarily in the domain of higher end vehicles. Even aluminum construction, pioneered on a mass-produced level by Audi and Jaguar, is only now starting to make its way into the mainstream, thanks to the upcoming Ford F-150.
With this concept, though, Ford is attempting to show that a mass-produced, lightweight vehicle isn't too far off. This is the Lightweight Concept, and while it may look like a Fusion, it weighs as much as a Fiesta. For reference, the lightest Fusion available to the public is the 3,323-pound, 2.5-liter model with a manual transmission. A manually equipped, 1.6-liter Fiesta, meanwhile, is just 2,537 pounds.
